Anybody have any first impressions of the watch for those of you who already have it?

It's not mind blowing or life changing... yet. It's an excellent piece of kit. However, in my opinion it's not up the Apple standard of polish yet. There's a few bugs and things that need to be ironed out.

With that, it's easily the best smartwatch I've ever owned, and even though it's not up to Apple's normal standard, it is more polished than Android Wear, and it has the potential to be mind blowing or life changing. Most AW devices aren't even close to that.

Also I found out if you just rest your palm on the display briefly (like tap with your palm almost) it will put the Watch to sleep.

Still processing!!!!

Still Processing here, 42mm Classic Buckle.

Ordered around 2:20 CST

Had a pending charge for AppleCare + that has since fallen off. If that normal?

Emoji Charges......

Just a quick post. I was lucky enough to receive my Watch on Friday and have been playing about with it since.

A Word of warning for users whose iPhone is on the VODAFONE network in UK.......

The animated emojis are chargeable as multimedia messages, over and above inclusive text messages and data charges!!!

30pence a time.

I sent one to a relation delivered to his iPhone as a SMS, although he is set up to receive iMessage.

I am not sure whether this s the same on all networks.

Just got off a chat with vodafone, who confirmed this. Fair play to VODAFONE, they refunded the 30p (and advised me to refrain from using the animated emoji).
