Apple just told me that my order went though at 3:09 am... so it didn't go though until 6 minutes after I clicked submit. Oh well Guess I need to keep waiting

Seems like the brakes have been applied to new releases in the last hour or so. There's probably 2-3 pallets full of 42SS BSB's sitting in the PA distribution under a shipping blanket over there in that dark corner.:confused:

Good. I don't want mine getting dirty!!!

Hey!!! Has anyone heard from an actual human being that has any part in this process??? A pilot, warehouse personnel, guy peaking through a chain linked fence, anybody????

Is Apple still handling them in The U.S. Or is this all UPS in the states?

There are no humans involved. Honda robots fly the planes, drive the trucks and forklifts, call UPS to come over and pick the watches up. If humans were involved we'd have a chance.

just talked to Apple to confirm my order time as +:05, they didn't have by the second detail :(

Count me in as another 42mm Classic Buckle that's still processing. I got my EOD on April 22 and so far my card hasn't been charged and my items are still processing.

Ordered a few minutes past midnight on the 10th and got a 4/24-5/8 delivery estimate.

Meanwhile someone at my work who ordered a 42mm Classic Buckle at the same time I did got his delivered on Friday.

Me too :(

Just because I'm standing here in front of a CNC lathe cutting stainless steel I decided to do some math. Long story short. This is Apples first rodeo with 316SS. Not only does it have a cutting speed 5x slower then aluminum but you can only push the cutter 1/2 as fast through it. Making it about 10x slower to machine then Aluminum. Also the tooling hardly ever wears out in aluminum. I am constantly changing tools and inserts in stainless. And it appears that the aluminum cases are cast almost to finish size, very little machining. Where the stainless looks like solid blocks with a lot of material to be removed. Although they will end up spectacular watch bodies there is a reason consumer products are plastic and aluminum. Just thinking of a reason for the stalled SS watches.

Yep, same here.

For anyone who's received their watch, can you post your UPS tracking schedule? Or just say where the departure scan originated.

Ta.

I think thats the case for everyone. Apple doesn't seem to be using the time you clicked "order" or the confirmation email time (which can vary based on who your host is). Looks like they went off of the time your payment was authorized with the bank. That has added to the "he ordered after me and got it on launch day" angst.
