Placed order 2-3 minutes after they store opened, conformation at 2:04 central time (12:04 PST) 42mm SS BSB still processing
I don't agree that the time is based on bank authorization. I've had no pending transactions or $1.00 holds since this whole thing started on the 10th. Some have even received watches
eek without a charge on their CC!The Apple DC's must be working off customer lists based on watch model and order entry time, then when watches show up at the DC's they run the charges against the attached CC and when authorized by the bank, they release the watch to UPS for shipment. Don't forget that we're going towards 3 weeks since orders were placed and some people that had funds available at order time might not have funds (and CC approval from the bank) now.

I think if you have paid with Apple pay you don't have any holds or charges until shipment, CS said my card was approved, but I have no pending charges or holds.
It is a shame. I can find better things to spend my money than being angry waiting for a stupid device. Oh btw I hate waiting!
I used Apple Pay, and have had a pending charge for Applecare+ the past two weeks. It finally dropped off yesterday, but nothing else has happened since.
It shows the charge is pending on my bank's website. It has been pending for a couple of days now, ever since I changed my shipping address.
I think Apple pay is just acting a little different compared to the people with just a strait credit card, I feel like everyone will see more movement tomorrow, they can only stack so many boxes for ups since it's Sunday.

i agree i also think people who payed withpay got them first truthfully.
The only issue with that is... I'm not to sure if the website opened up right at 12, because I know the Apple Store App was not active until about 2-3 minuets after 12. I believe that is where some people got ahead.

i kept refreshing and i saw the store up at around 12:03 and placed my order round 12:05 didn't get the email till 12:09.

Don't worry... Ether way we will still get it before the 8th! you have to understand that there was tens of thousands of other people ordering this watch at the same time... it would be great if
could fulfill everything but automation can only go so fast... im sure everything is running at full speed----------

I think you're right. On order day I had my MBP and iPhone in front of me. I was using website in the laptop and the Apple Store App on the phone. I was refreshing both. My Apple Store App didn't come on line until 2 past 5 in Sydney. I placed my order at 5:02 PM. Got confirmation email at 17:03:02 AEST. Got email of death on Thursday afternoon, Friday afternoon had status change to "Preparing for Shipment". However, I have had no movement since then, no charge on card.
I ordered 42mm Sports SG with Black Band. I have another couple hours until CS opens in Sydney. I know the card works because I see every other charge in the world come through but the one I want the most.
