Oh my god, your Preparing for Shipment was 72 hours? I was getting antsy after mine took 7 hours, 72 hours, that sucks. Glad it's finally shipped.

I have accepted the fact that I'll get my watch on the 8th. Anything before that is a bonus. Until then, I'll continue to read the entire online manual for the Apple watch, preview the unboxing videos and re-watch videos of people destroying the device. All of this while sipping on a nice glass of Scotch. Cheers! :D

I know this has been 1 tough @$$ journey for us all (Later orders being pushed ahead of us first 30 minute orderers)But in the end it will be worth it. Take a look at some of the early 1st day posters watch problems that vary. I would rather NOT be in the initial window, because those watches might have been rushed thru production. Hopefully we all have no problems with our products when they arrive all the same. As usual I will pop back in to see how the progress is going for everyone

Sadly I think it's the bands that are holding things up, not the watches themselves. This is one instance where I think Apple got to cute with the bands, they should have just been mass produced in some factory instead of small tanneries

TBO, Im leaning towards the dates they are churning this things out. Mine was made sometime last week , also others having their watches made right before being sent out. I think the problem is not pre-prepping their stock, so they would have ample on launch

I registered today so I could post here because these forums have helped me keep my sanity while waiting around aimlessly after taking the time to complete my pre-order at 12:07am PDT 4/10.

The site was down for the first few minutes after 12am PDT, so I couldn't order sooner or I obviously would have. I was on the site since 11:50pm. A very crappy launch indeed, but again these are first world problems so I tried not to sweat it when I didn't get my watch on Friday.


42 SS ML. I'm in OC, California

- Order Completed at XX:07AM 4/10
- Order confirmation at XX:10
- EOD received Thursday Night
- Card Finally Charged at 2:15AM 4/27
- Order Status changed to Preparing For Shipment shortly after charge appeared

Not showing in UPS my choice yet.
