Stop lying! Phones are not shipped on weekends!
Trust me, I have better things to do then lie about when My watch is shipping...## deliveries don't happen Sunday, but logistics are a 24-7 operation.

Man, I got my watch launch day and I still can't stop this forum. I feel terrible for those who've had to wait and are still waiting. I hope apple does too.
Good luck all! I hope you get yours soon.

That is the million dollar question my only answer i can think of is for this launch time had less do with order then style + time did. Which is wrong....But i feel like they won't ever tell us exactly what happened. And i am sure Apple Watch 2 launch will be much more organized. I unfortunately didnt take part in 2007 iphone launch...were u able to preorder that? I wonder how those fulfillments went in comparison to this.
----------
What do they say to that specific occurrence when u tell them? They are just gonna keep authorizing it until the watch ships?

The fastest way to order from Apple is *always* via the Apple Store App on your iPhone. Apple wants you to use the iPhone & the app, so those people doing so will always be able to hit the online store first & order before others who are not using iPhone & the Apple Store App.
Next priority is given to iPad. And then finally computers.
My watch is in Harrisburg, PA now. Maybe a Monday surprise instead of Tuesday

iPhone 2007 launch = smooth as glass. I preordered immediately (about 1 minute after pre-ordering began). All notifications happened when expected. I had my iPhone in my hands on launch day at 9:00am.
Sounds like a nice theory, but otherwise then being faster in the 'purchasing' part of the sale, do you have any proof this is true?
I have a hard time believing they are going to prioritize orders by how they made the order.

That's what the supervisor ("Jason") told me when I spoke with him this past Friday. I told him I ordered via iPhone and the Apple Store App because I had previously been informed that ordering as such would be the fastest. He said, "That's exactly right! Yes!" He then proceeded to tell me that iPads are the next fastest and then computers.
Not my circus; not my clowns. Just passing along what Apple supervisors told me.
Hang in there bud! Trust me it will happen!
For everyone else:
I know this has been 1 tough @$$ journey for us all (Later orders being pushed ahead of us first 30 minute orderers)But in the end it will be worth it. Take a look at some of the early 1st day posters watch problems that vary. I would rather NOT be in the initial window, because those watches might have been rushed thru production. Hopefully we all have no problems with our products when they arrive all the same. As usual I will pop back in to see how the progress is going for everyone
