Maybe this is the future of new Apple products, and we'll have launch weeks and maybe even launch months instead of just a specific day.

I think thats a big part of it for sure. Then I have to admit all the negative posts and problems and defects has taken a bit of the magic out too... I guess its my own fault for not steering clear of the forum.
 
Well, another day of no movement. I really don't understand how there hardly seemed to be any movement at all to day for the board. Just onsie twosies here and there.

Maybe we'll get lucky and wake up to charges tomorrow.

I really feel bad for all of you who are still waiting and I know I would be really down if I were in your boat. More sympathetic, I could not be. With that said, don't let this forum, or any other publication, or anyone else, steal the magic from you. This launch has been way off the mark, but the product is great. I have worn mine for 4 full days (got it on Friday at 8:10 AM) and the magic is really there. I absolutely adore my watch and I know you will adore yours when you get it. I am hoping that you all get movement soon and can enjoy your watch and put this negativity behind you.

Do u really know how they feel? I think not! U have your watch and we still don't have it! I guess they shipped all the cheap versions first. The ppl who paid more should have gotten their watches first! #

Yeah, I lost some of the joy also.

However, if any number are within range, the amount of defects could be very small. Yes, there will be issues and Applecare and Apple warranty will provide for that.
We have just been conditioned that we will receive the perfect product.
When iPad was first released, there were, what, 300,000?
Now we have in excess of possibly 2 mm.
Guess what..stuff happens. Apple is no longer the boutique shop it once was and the demand is over the top.
With that, my Watch better be perfect tomorrow, otherwise I'm going to throw a really bad temper fit. (OK, I'm done now)
Best to all those that get what they want tomorrow.
 
Ugh this whole launch has been such a bummer.
This is literally the first thing I've pre-ordered since the first Nintendo DS (which was a million years ago) and I don't think I'll ever bother doing so again.
I still support the Apple Watch as a product and as a shareholder, I'm glad Apple is doing well; but my own personal enthusiasm is beginning to turn to bitterness.
I feel as though I've been made a fool of; that I've jumped through hoops for a company that thinks very little of me and if I had a bit more integrity, I'd cancel the damned thing.

Chin up man. I felt just like you. Then I woke up today and saw my card was charged overnight and my watch is being shipped. It will happen. And when it does you'll forget all about how much the waiting sucked.
