Any truth to the earlier remark that updating a shipping address on an order resets the order clock? I don't see why something like that would send you to the back of the line. 0:04 order confirmation, updated order with new shipping address later that day (during daylight hours as the order system was getting hammered and couldn't log in to change shipping address)

Second question, suppose you might be in vacation and away from home when the watch actually ends up delivering, what's the recommended approach? Divert shipment? Hold? Have a friend pickup?

Just chatted with CS. I was told this would not reset the order and if the date changed an email would have been sent.

I still find this launch/ship strange. I did receive my shipping notification and now I have my tracking number.

My order is for the 42MM SS Milanese.
Conf: 12:06
EOD
Still processing as of last night.

Are they pulling orders out of just wherever now? My order original said standard shipping, but is now coming out Harrisburg overnight.

Weird!

1 lb? I don't think that's an Apple watch. Did you order an extra band or a charger too?

Less than 5 days: hold at UPS store.

More than 5 days: divert shipment to a friend.

More than 5 days and have money: UPS vacation hold.

Unfortunately this is what the CS agent, Michelle told me. I was trying to get a time queue i could expect my order to be shipped - i know, basically a rhetorical question. Instead, i had her confirm order time. I ordered my watch 4/9/2015 9:09PM HST (Hawaii), she confirmed that it was processed in Apple's system 4/10/2015 9:47PM PST, based off my revision on 9:44PM PST in the shipping address.

I have no clue why she would advise me of this and obviously and completely confused as to how this would've changed the status of my order. :(

Weird!

standard shipping for apple is fastest available especially on launch (generally only time i buy from apple lol)

Congrats to all of us!!!!!!! Those still left processing; seriously its worth it!! I feel like i dont need my iphone (BESIDES THE FACT IT CONTROLS THE WATCH) lmao.

OnLY thing it needs is a camera on the front so u can facetime from your wrist. But that was left off on purpose im sure :apple:Watch2 hahahhaha.

If this is true, this is really bad news for me because I have updated my shipping address 2x. My boyfriend placed our orders the moment the store went live and he didn't pay attention to what address he had on file so he was shipping to our old address in another state! He had to wait until the next day to change it. Now that my PSB is still no where to be seen and we have a vacation coming up, I had to change it again to my work address so that someone will be there to sign and lock it up if I am not there. I really hope this isn't true. A:confused:

So just got off the line with Sales Support, transferred from regular support, both people on the phone were SUPER NICE. the agent I talked to in sales support could not verify by exact order confirmation time but did say that he could SEE my watch (he read to me my configuration 42mm SS BSB) waiting for Customs Clearance in PA, so it would seem my address update had no impact on my turn in line and he said as soon as it clears customs order status would update with the shipping email and tracking number scenario.

According to my original email confirmation I'm 0:05:42 for 42mm BSB shipping to Boston, MA area. Assuming it clears customs in the next 24 then I'd expect the watch Wed or Thur this week I guess.

well its official the excitement is dead all i want is a damn actual date even if i still have to wait 2 weeks for it.

I'm starting to wonder what I'll do when my watch actually arrives and I'll no longer be able to obsessively check my order status, credit card app, and this forum. I'll have to find a new hobby.

Hey guys. I have a fantastic idea for a Apple watch app.

It's called Beat it.

You run the app and you start..... Well..... Beating it off. When you are done, it tells you how many calories you've burned.

Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Expect a lawsuit from the Michael Jackson Estate.

38mm Sport with white sport band ordered evening of 04/11 had June availability until this afternoon, when it showed arrival between 05/21-06/04. Then, earlier this evening, Apple advised by email that it will arrive tomorrow. UPS has it; coming from Pennsylvania. Credit card charged this evening, too. This is my wife's watch. My 42mm space gray sport -- also ordered evening of 04/11 -- still shows June.
Location: Asheville, NC

Yeah, thought that odd also. That is the tracking number that was on my shipping doc. Maybe Apple is getting a flat rate?

Didn't order an extra charger yet and the extra band I ordered is still processing.

I can go back to my regularly scheduled life....

And start thinking about iPhone whatever...
