After reading far too many pages of this thread, I feel like I have to post early so that if I ever do get a shipment notification/credit card charge/stray pixel showing up on my order when I refresh it for the 67th time, nobody will say, "Why is this your first post, TROLL?"

Now attempting to engage "productivity mode" instead of "frenetic refresh and hair-pulling mode."

(38" SS :apple: Watch with Black Sport band, 1:06 order time, 4/24-5/8 window.)

Pictures from earlier in the thread?

Does anybody have the alleged pictures of the :apple:watch sport from earlier in the thread, or the page number they are on? I've been looking and can't find them!

Apple watch training appointments

Well, I had read somewhere that there were going to be training workshops for the apple watch starting this Friday. I live in NC and as of yesterday none of the apple stores in NC had available workshops but it just turns out that there will be workshops at one of the stores (the one in Durham, Southpoint) so evidently this store is expecting people (at least some people) to have received their watches by Friday morning and afternoon.

I ordered the 42 white sport band on 4/10/15 at 3:04 Eastern time and got a delivery date of 4/24 5/8. I also ordered a black band and got a deliver date for 4/29 5/13. Funny enough there has been a charge in my account for $52.31 since the day placed the order (this is a charge for the band) but no charge at all for the watch....

I just randomly got a call from the apple store Leeds as I had a workshop booked for the 24th asking if I was going to have the watch that day as apparently they've been told that you have to have a watch to go to the workshop.

When I told him my dates were 4/24-5/8 he let me keep the appointment assuming I'd have my watch by the evening. So looks like they are expecting some watches to be delivered that day.

I saw that Leeds have workshops for the watch all day. Tempted to book on if they would guarantee my watch arriving by then! Lol

Hate to be the one with the bad news but I think you got a Chinese counterfeit.

Message the dev directly. That's your best chance. You have the threat of negative reviews. In fact, everyone do this please. ;)

1) Are you guys serious? The Deliveries app has been around forever and is very useful.

2) There's a much easier way to get refunds on app purchases than threatening the devs with a yelp-style online lynching. Just google it.

When I checked NC, all the stores had training workshops starting either Friday or Saturday except Crabtree. Odd.

You can sign up for UPS my choice and something similar at FedEx for free. You get notified when something gets shipped to your address, and again when it's delivered.

I thought UPS My Choice and FedEx Delivery manager were paid subscriptions? I mean I got a 6 month free trial when the 6 came out, but it has since expired - and I no longer get notified of deliveries. And I order stuff from amazon about twice a week.
Help? haha

It's a great app, especially for the fact it chooses the last possible date for it to get there as your time estimate. It's smart. And the best tracking app available.

It is by far the best tracking app available. This is a new situation and clearly the app didn't anticipate a date range, so they went with the last date in the range. That is common practice. Once the order updates with a more concrete date, it will shift to that date. Since nothing has happened yet... it'll show May 8.

Delivery notifications are available to free users as well. Maybe check your settings?

Or maybe, Did Amazon start using USPS and there own LaserShip service in your area?

The anticipation is killing me. I really hope mine arrives on Friday... I know everyone wants that, but I've booked a hotel to go celebrate with friends and I'll have to reschedule everything because of :apple: :(

Amazon does use Mail Innovations UPS\USPS quite a bit... But I still occasionally receive shipments from FedEx\UPS without notification.
