So odd... I've checked my UPS Profile and my FedEx profile and all my information is correct. And SMS alerts are on and set to the correct number. Like I said I get atleast 1 if not 2 packages a week. I get text notifications from amazon, but no longer receive them from the carriers. Womp Womp.

You're sure you're signed up for the free my choice? They might not automatically move you from paid to free membership. Otherwise, contact them this week so you get notification of your watch!

Amazon does use Mail Innovations UPS\USPS quite a bit... But I still occasionally receive shipments from FedEx\UPS without notification.

Yea, at least in my area they've slowly moved to using there own shipping company LaserShip for the majority of my deliveries.

Maybe try removing your phone number and then re-adding and enabling notifications.

I checked out a few mins ago using the store app and only the one in durham had workshops.... weird. Bottom line at least some people will be getting their phones this Friday.

Southpark and Northlake in Charlotte have them starting in the AM on Friday. Friendly Center in Greensboro has them starting on Saturday in the AM. Southpoint is Friday AM. Nothing for Crabtree. Which is weird.

Just checked on app. All that said, this does mean that Apple expect to be delivering watches to those markets on Friday.

Cool.... Hopefully we are among those lucky ones!

I'm going to do that...

And amazon has used lasership a few times in the past. I've had nothing but bad experience with them
I hope you get better service in your area :)

So everyone who cannot understand a simple sentence are blaming the Deliveries app? I am sure this forum is getting worse by the day.

I am disgusted by the number of people blaming Deliveries.app - for what? There is nothing to blame them for. It's a FANTASTIC app and I use it every day to keep on top of tracking my packages. Totally worth the $$$ for it.

Blaming Deliveries for doing its job and what's it's supposed to do is ridiculous. This thread is out of control.

My closest store has 3 workshops each day for the first weekend, then 2 per day the following week. I'm guessing many people will be receiving watches Friday and Saturday.

So which is the worst?

1) Sitting here waiting for somebody, anybody to see some movement from 'processing' to 'preparing'? or...

2) The inevitable nightmare that befalls you when those peoples orders move to 'preparing' whilst your own remains stuck in 'processing'?

Mine has workshop scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, could be an empty session.

I just randomly got a call from the apple store Leeds as I had a workshop booked for the 24th asking if I was going to have the watch that day as apparently they've been told that you have to have a watch to go to the workshop.

When I told him my dates were 4/24-5/8 he let me keep the appointment assuming I'd have my watch by the evening. So looks like they are expecting some watches to be delivered that day.

Those are for all the celebs who got one before the launch date.

2..definitely Nr. 2

Email Reciept

Got ya, my mail client saids the order email came in at 3:02 am but surely there could be some delay between the email and the actual order time. I mean even 30 sec could but my actual order time at 3:01. To bad Apple doesn't have the order time printed somewhere to the sec even would be cool.

Mine has a day full of Watch Basics in Friday and then none again through the following Thursday, which is when the schedule cuts off.

Yeah all these celebs here in Oklahoma to attend the 10:00AM session in OKC. Mhmm. Yeah. No.
They are for us. Any celebs that got it got either got Jony Ive delivering it or an employee and both would personally walk them through using it.

I hear Kevin Durant has a bunch of free time on his hands these days. Could be for him and the rest of the thunder!:(

It's 7:40am in Cupertino.

I have a feeling we will see a status change later when those guys work day gets going. Nothing to base this on, just a hunch that I don't think apple would hand over control of notifications to a 3rd party when it could be a potential PR nightmare if they f*cked it up.
