Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B179 Safari/7534.48.3)

I just got a delivery exception and they rescheduled the delivery for Monday. Wtf? It says "indirect signature required", which means they can drop it with my apt manager, but for whatever reason they're not doing that today!

Ok literally 15 seconds after this post I get a notification that they did indeed drop it off at my apt manager. FedEx needs to get their tracking system straightened out so we all don't freak out about these deliveries haha. Can't wait to get off work now!

OUt on a limb and keep the faith

I too got the now expected delivery exception around 10am. I even cancelled my planned return to the house lunch to pickup. Only to receive a notification at 12:15pm that my packages had delivered. I have to give props to the Fed-Ex driver though he always makes an extra effort to hide my packages. He covered them with my door mat. While i would love to jump on Fed-Ex who actually I do not really like its Apple who holds the packages.

Add me to the list. Originally scheduled by 3:00p. Then changed to 8:00p and now they're saying the "Customer not available or business closed". Interesting enough, I've been home all day and posted the pre-signed delivery print-outs on my front door. Something seems a little fishy.

FedEx said by 7pm and it showed up about 4pm. Don't know why they couldn't put it on the same truck that made a delivery at 11am.

This is a common tactic for fedex during big releases, xMas etc

They just dont have the staff to deliver everything in one day...so their drivers will return to the hub when their day is over and mark the undeliverd packages as "Customer not home".

I have called and complained about this many times and the truth is...no one on either end (Fedex/Apple) give a cr-p.

So for big events like this...have it held at the fedex facility and dont waste your day waiting.
