Delivery Thread for 27" iMac December Orders

Ordered Dec. 19th and received mine yesterday morning, Jan. 15, in Massachusetts...typing from the new machine now!

Config:

3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
3TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5
APPLE MAGIC MOUSE

FWIW, it went to Preparing for Shipment in the early hours (for me) of Saturday, Jan. 12. Listed as Shipped on Monday, Jan. 14. Apple said it'd be delivered on Thursday, Jan. 17, but FedEx said Wednesday, Jan. 16. I checked tracking on Tuesday morning and it showed as having gotten to Memphis, then to Boston, then back to Memphis (???), but it showed up at my home in MA only a couple hours after that and the tracking info on FedEx had all been corrected. Long story short, it showed up a day earlier than even FedEx had listed. Glad I was working from home to get it!

Mine just showed up in Alaska an hour ago, taking the Shanghai - Narita route, but for whatever reason bypassing South Korea.

I wonder if it's going to Newark or Memphis next.

This FedEx flight #92 goes from Incheon directly to Anchorage and it left at 10:36pm -- the exact time my FedEx tracking shows "in transit" from Incheron!

I was right! It just landed in Anchorage! So glad it finally made it over... Now just hoping for no hangups with customs!

No problems with customs my friend...12:40PM International shipment release...my guess is Flight 94 in 2 hours and 20 minutes. :)

Ordered a BTO on 12/27 from an Apple store near my home........still processing. The wait is killing me :(

Finally got tired of checking and seeing processing through out the day. I didn't check until a few moments ago. I went from processing to shipping. Scheduled to be here on the 21(exactly a month from my order date) Happy about that but I am leaving out of town. My baby and I will not be united until the 27th. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Same here, and same config.. Called up apple today for about the 5th time still the only date they give me is "January", hope you hear something soon

I called apple last week - they were "very sorry" they didn't know anything, but offered me a free wired keyboard for my troubles. :D Hope everyone that is in processing limbo goes to shipping heaven VERY SOON!!

My 27" BTO ordered December 26 was just delivered two hours ago!! What a beauty! The screen is massive. Looking forward to a long three-day weekend :D Hoping your shipments come quickly - it is well worth the wait and frustration!!:apple:
 
For those who are waiting It took me 32 days from order to the day it was delivered...and it was worth it I love it..was so excited to come home today to get to play with my new toy...Good Luck to all you future iMac owners
 
I have a question. If my Mac is on the FedEx 90 flight tonight landing at 11pm. Should my tracking change to landed tonight or tomorrow morning

I dunno, but I am also wondering this because I strongly suspect mine is also on 90 (it changed to "In transit" in Shanghai about an hour before 90 left).

Mine was on that flight Monday morning east coast time and it was out for delivery Tuesday morning ..Good luck

Same here. I was told that its very possible that it will bebo delivered tomorrow a day early. It seems plausible a lot of deliveries came in a day early. I'm in ny
