Shipped 1/18/2013 Estimated delivery is 1/23/2013
 
Another 12/22 order that finally went to preparing. They also charged my credit card (discover) sometime during the night. I hope it gets shipped within 24 hours like most of them do.

Got my shipping email today. Estimated delivery 1/23.
 
My card was charged yesterday morning and I am still in "processing" limbo. How long does it usually take after a card is charged before it shows "preparing for shipment"? I ordered on 12/27 from Apple store.

My Jan 2nd order from the educational store (27" with the i5 and 1TB fusion, the GTX680 and 8GB RAM) is preparing for shipment as of this morning.

I am in MN.

congrats! i'm about to check my account to see if there has been any transactions. i ordered teh exact same configuration a day prior.

i just checked my balance and i'm missing a good chunk...either it's from apple or i've got trouble lol. IT'S FROM APPLE!!

I just checked my account and the hold is on the card for the amount(it wasn't there yesterday, just the available credit - thtz how I knew the card was charged). Hoping they get this thing shipped today! Good luck to you!

11:00 last night iMac landed in Memphis. 11:00 last night I landed on Texas. iMac is on truck for delivery this morning in North Carolina. Two days earlier than expected. But I won't get to play with her for until the 27. Will this waiting never end!!!

Ordered 12/21
Prepared and shipped 12/16
Expected delivery. A few hours
iMac and me first meeting. 12/27. LOL

thanks! it's been a long time coming..and a lot of being frustrated, infuriated, and a few phone calls to apple.

Same with me, I called customer service just to get some information because I was tired of hearing nothing about my order for almost 3 week. I was very calm to the man I spoke to on the phone and just simply asked if he had any information to give me about my order. He then told me what he could and offered the free super drive, and said that I had been one of the nicest people to call and ask about their iMac all day.

Being nice is the way to get what you want from customer service, yelling and screaming never does anyone good!
 
I ordered January 4th from the education store and the order status today is preparing for shipment ;-)

From processing to preparing to shipped in one day

Overnight my 28th December order went to preparing and now a few hours later its Shipped. Things must be improving at the factory! :D

Good to know. As a fellow 12/22-er this gives me a shred of hope. Still no charge on my card and still no change in my order status thus far, though. :(
 
ZOMG IT SHIPPING !!!!!!! it prepared yesterday and today it shipped !!!

If your iMac is on the UPS flight yours and mine are sharing the same aircraft. I still have not figured out which flight will bring to Ontario.

Can't wait to boot it up...:D
 
My baby has been delivered. To bad I am in another state. She will have to wait a few more days before we can be together.
 
Finally got my iMac today at 9:29am PST

Ordered Date Dec 25, 2012. (Actually Christmas Eve late night)
Stayed in Processing until Jan 15 morning.
Sometime later the same day Jan 15, it was set Preparing for Shipment and very soon changed to Shipped with Estimated Delivery on Jan 21.
From Shanghai, CH -> Narita, JP -> Anchorage, AK -> Oakland, CA to San Jose, CA. But made it early today on Jan 18.

Delivered! Was supposed to deliver Monday but came today! Ordered Dec 31. See previous posts for my 27" config
 
Still processing, ordered Jan. 2nd. Looks like folks around my date are starting to get theirs shipped, but everyone's a maxed out i7/680. Just a base 27 here with 1TB Fusion...still waiting :(

I'm new to iMacs, how can u check your hard drive to see what kind it is and how much space u have, got mine yesterday and no scratches, no screen problems, amazing to look at
