Delivery Thread for 27" iMac December Orders

Hmm, my computer, which finally switched to preparing for shipment, yesterday morning (yay!) is still stuck there (boo), did anyone else's number take this long to switch to shipping?

Mine took about 20 hours but when it did switch it was already on a plane in shanghai
 
Got mine yesterday. i7, 680MX, 8gb RAM, Magic Mouse. Ordered aftermarket RAM upgrade.

I placed my order last December 6. It is now January 19.

It has been 44 days since I ordered. The reseller promised me within 45 days. :D

Perhaps they are counting it in business days rather than calendar days.

So does that mean 3 more weeks ago? :rolleyes:

Mine arrived exactly 25 Days and 1 hour after ordering.:)
 
just a quick question peeps, mine been preparing for shipment since this morning, but my CC hasn't been charged yet? Is this normal, I was hoping it would ship later tonight. So impatient. haha!

Mine's been on prepare for shipment for about 10 hours now. I read someone mention that theirs went from prepare to shipment and next update it was on a plane, so I'm hoping that's the case for me.

Got mine yesterday as well! 1 day earlier than expected, supposed to be delivered today. Must say although it was a long wait, it was worth it! This is my first Desktop Mac and I must say, it is a beauty. My windows machine looks horrible next to it :D

Did you pay for expedited shipping? Mine was shipped on the same day (16th) but now is still in Shanghai?
 
Mine still hasn't moved from prepared to ship yet. Been 24 hours. I expect that to change by the end of the night. Hopefully my expedited shipping will get it here by Monday or Tuesday.
 
I ordered mine on January 31st. I got an email last night saying it was shipped. Apple's delivery estimate says January 25th but the expected delivery date according to Fedex is Wednesday the 23rd. Woot! Now its time to order my ram and make some room next to my other imac.

Below is what I ordered and how much I paid. I got the school/government discount. Did you all know that you qualify for this discount? ANYONE can get the discount.

Looks like they kicked into high gear mine showed up this morning and I'm guessing the rest of the backlog will be cleared out in the next two weeks.

When I called 1-800MyApple on 1/15. They gave me upgrade in shipping. It was suppose to arrive on 1/21 but it came today:D

Also when I used the link for tracking from the email it STILl says the my computer is in Shanghai. But when I checked the link that was given via text. It had the correct information. You may want to make sure about the tracking

iMac has shipped, due Jan 24 (according to FedEx) or Jan 25 (according to Apple).

UPS, surge suppressors, and DAS keyboard arrive Monday (non-Apple purchases).

I'm excited...haven't had a new toy in a looong time!

Been watching this for a bit now any my card has finally been charged! Finally some hope! :)
