You miss a part...there is also people on the forum having fun at observing people like you whining because on December 24th their iMac scheduled for delivery in January is not arrived.
It's a bit like watching monkeys fighting at the zoo. You remind me Zoolander.

first of all dude none of that even made sense, and i dont consider one post about delivery time complaining, all i was trying to do was help any other forum member who might be close to my order and delivery date and give them a heads up to call apple so as to not be surprised if this happens to them also.

I try very hard not to respond to those sort of posts anymore because they are simply trying to get attention by creating drama. I have discovered that these sorts lurk around almost every forum on almost every subject, so it really is rather pointless to engage, but sometimes it just so bewildering . .

My 27 inch, i7, 680, 1tb is on its way from Memphis to California right now. Felt kinda a little down knowing it flew over me on its way from Shanghai to Memphis. :(. Lol. Jk. So close yet so far. Upgrade to my workhorse 2009 Mac mini with 8gigs of ram and an owc ssd which I installed for a little kick.

Trivial enough for you to file a law suit. LOL

I have 4th-10th delivery date. I believe it takes around 6 days to reach the UK where I am - 4 days from China to UPS and a couple of days to get delivered once here.

That means if it is to meet the January 4th date it needs to be shipped by this coming Sunday 30th but if we go for the later date then it doesn't have to be shipped until next Saturday which is the 5th January.

What that means in that if its coming for the earlier date it could go to prepared for shipment any day now or it may not until next week.

In other words we just have to wait and see as we can't guess when it will ship!!!!

My Dec 2nd order is here in town on the truck to be delivered today but is now delayed by the blizzard and almost foot of snow we had fall today. I wasn't expecting it here so soon anyway with the original Jan 2-8 delivery window so it's all good though.

Ordered mine Dec 3rd - Preparing for Shipment Dec 20th - Shipped Dec 21st - In my Hands (according to TNT) Dec 27th (aka tomorrow)

Has anyone that placed an order on December 3rd or 4th seen a machine ship yet or have a status update? I ordered a 27/i7/3GB Fusion on the 4th at 12:05 pm EST and have seen nothing. I called Apple to ask if they had anything firm since others were getting theirs sooner, but they keep referring me back to my estimated delivery of January 2-8, 2013.

I think it's ridiculous. Honestly, I can't complain because they did give me a January date BEFORE I placed my order, but a month is a pretty long wait considering the selling price. My OCD keeps me pressing the refresh button, but to no avail. Hopefully we'll begin to see some movement soon.

Now that you mention it what the heck does that 68,030 whatever number signify?

Our forum "ranks" are the part numbers of different CPUs used in Macs, from oldest to most recent. You're in Motorola territory with that 68k chip.
