Ordered bto ( in sig)) 12/15 from BH Photo and they are all back ordered.
My card was charged with a temp authorization or w/e last week(17th I believe). Still in processing. Called today to see what the status was and they gave me a free Magic Trackpad since there is still no date.
(ordered Jan 4th, base 27 except for the 3TB Fusion Drive)

Like I said before. Come three months from now you won't care if the computer came this week or next; but you'll still have that Trackpad!
...and i'm still here waiting with a pending transaction on my account since the 17th. tomorrow makes 4 weeks. the day after that i'm cancelling. i've already got a pc configured and in my shopping cart as i'm sure apple is about to lose a customer...permanently. of course it's made no better when orders placed a week or more are fulfilled and exact duplicates of my build placed days after me are recieved.

Thankfully, it looks like my iMac delivery hasn't been affected by the snow, as my iMac is out for delivery 6:46am
My iMac arrived a day early! I picked it up early on the 21st. Not certain if the configuration of the computers is what is causing the inconsistency in deliveries, but here are my specs:
27" iMac
3.4 Ghz i7
8GB Ram
680MX 2G
1TB Fusion Drive
Magic Mouse
Numeric Keyboard+10-Key

Thanks for the info but as stated mine iMac is coming by way UPS and not FedEx. So that really won't help with the flight tracking. Also noticed that the iMac went from Shanghai to Osaka Japan and now has just arrived in Anchorage Alaska. I still don't know where it goes from there? To somewhere back east? Somewhere down south? If I knew the next leg I could track it easily.

Yup, I'm pretty sure you're right. My order has left anchorage, and given flight times, I'm sure it's heading to Louisville. The question now is, after that will it be heading to us? Or is it going to stop somewhere else?

I feel you pain. I am also out of town and my Mac was delivered on Friday 1/18. I left town on 1/17. The 'ac and I were two planes passing in the night.
We will not be united until 1/27.
Here's an update on my iMac's travels so far. Using UPS to Canada. Looks like as I'm on the west coast of Canada it has taken a different route.
After leaving shanghai, it has gone as follows:
Osaka Japan, Anchorage Alaska, Ontario California and is now sitting in Portland Oregon as of 4:17 am PST this morning. Looks like I should have it before the end of he week!

After sitting in shanghai for a couple days, my Mac is now on its way to narita, Japan instead of anchorage. Any idea why?

On truck for delivery this morning. One day ahead of FexEx's schedule and 6 days ahead of Apple's very generous January 28th date. Can't wait for this baby to get here!

Yup, looks like our computers have parted ways - mine has just arrived in Louisville, Kentucky, and then will hopefully head to Toronto. Hope yours arrives soon!
Last week mine did the same thing - it will move on to Anchorage shortly.
Thanks! Now it shows that it left Portland and 1 1/2 hours later it has been delivered to UPS in Richmond BC? It then has a departure scan from Richmond at 10:03 this morning PST. Strange that the delivery date still shows Friday since Richmond is less than 40 minutes from home? Wonder if I'm gonna see it today or tomorrow instead ?

It does seem really unfair that folks who ordered after us are getting their machines (with the same config as ours) weeks ahead of us, but I guess they just have some good Mac karma. (not sure what I did to earn bad Mac karma!

Day 31 since ordering and counting (I know I haven't gotten close to beating the record wait time yet, though!). At this point I wouldn't be surprised if it ships on January 31st!

Funny thing is that UPS showed that it wasn't going to arrive until Friday. I called and said that it shows as being scanned in at nearby depot and asked of I could go and pick it up. They said if have to wait until tomorrow. Not 5 minutes later guess who pulled into the parking lot? UPS truck and my baby was on board.
