Don't like the flat icon look...

Johnny Ive is a great industrial designer, but I really don't like the new look of the icons. Why change them? They were so beautiful before.

Wow, lots of crows will be eaten tonight.... more functional but too much change

lmao. this place is great comedy.

everyone whines for the past year that Apple doesn't change enough.

Now they go and make changes.. and its too much change?

PRICELESS. :D

Apple R.I.P.

iOS looks as boring, hideous and inhumane as rumored.

Folks, today marks the end of the old Apple as we knew it - Ive put the final nail into the coffin. R.I.P.

Nice to see them allowing for call blocking finally. I was hoping to see a better keyboard, though. Every time I switch over to using an iPad or iPhone, I really miss the SwiftKey keyboard I downloaded for my N4. Maybe next time :(

Wow that guy has terrible Photoshop skills

Looks like a 99cent jailbreak theme.

I'm not sure I like what I'm seeing but I'll withhold my judgement until the keynote

I would take that image with a very large serving of salt.

I bet that's hardly a realistic mockup.

Looks awful.

Reminds me of Samsugs Bada OS

Look how flat that OS is.

I call bull ****.

lmaooooooooo

Wow...this thread hit the brakes really fast. I would wager that 90% of the posters on the first 12 pages are in other threads marveling at how amazingly simplistic this new design is.

lmaooooooooo

Silly. You quoted someone saying they didn't like it but would wait until they saw it. Yeah you sure showed him!

What is shocking is that they would allow certain icons in the mix. Like Safari and Game center.

I thought it before the announcement and i still think this is a failure in design. At first i actually thought they where kidding me when they first shown of the new iOS7, how can they come up with this as a result? with the resources they got. From a pure design perspective (in my opinion) the metro style homescreen (win8) with pure colors and big tiles are a better design than the new iOS7 homescreen. To vibrant to much gradient in inverse directions, to much details and it looks overworked, to little and it looks unfinished.
At least they didn't took their time and brought it to OSX.

Sorry Apple.
