Did anyone choose the 5c over the 5s?

I went with the iPhone 5C cause of the over all look and feel. It in a way loosely reminded me of the 3G/3GS (kinda). There really was no benefit in going to the 5S for me at least. I went with the Green one and love it so far.
I did.
1. It's more comfortable to hold.
2. I like the colour yellow.
3. I couldn't give a **** about the latest tech and as a dev it can be beneficial to stay one gen behind to ensure performance is good for older users (I have a 4 and 4S in the household too).
4. It worked out £10 a month cheaper on my plan which makes a big difference to me.
5. I couldn't care less about Touch ID, I don't even use a pass code. There's nothing worthwhile in my life worth stealing.

I still have the ip4 and am about to upgrade. In the UK it is only £80 cheaper than the 5S but I really preferred the feel of the phone in the apple store, and I like the yellow too. So not totally decided (everyone else is telling me to get the 5S) but I just like the feel of it, and it looks to me also like it doesn't need a case

Get the 5c now
Then get the 6 when it comes out
I am one of those who did end up buying the iPhone 5c over 5s.
Why?
I was visiting USA and wanted to buy the 5s because its so much cheaper then it is where I live. But there was impossible to get a contract free iPhone 5s!
It was terrible. You could go online and search for the one you wanted to pick it up in store. But it wasn't as easy as one would think. I couldn't find any!
So I got tired and went to have a look at the iPhone 5c in the store. And fell in love with the white one. It reminded me of my white iPhone 3gs I had before. And decided I didn't want all the hassle to get 5s. I just wanted a new phone before flying home again. I upgraded from iPhone 4 and Im happy with my iPhone 5c So much better!

I just returned my 5s for a 5c! I hate my 5s! I was happy with the performance of the phone but I can't stand the loose power button. 3 replacements and they all rattled! Very annoying. 5c doesn't have that problem and therefore I am happy. Love the color, notice no difference in performance, and it feels great. Wish I wouldn't have wasted my time with the 5s!

I did, and it's my first-ever smartphone. When I went and compared them side-by-side I liked the in-hand feel of the 5c much better.
Edited to add: I've been a Mac user for a very long time, and when I've bought them in the past I've always bought as much speed and power as I could afford. In this case, I figured I'd stick with proven tech that's been out for awhile and I'm glad I did, given how many issues some 5s owners seem to be having.

What was the major reasons for coming back to Apple iPhone after using bigger Android mobile phones ?
Got a white 5C month and a half ago. Dont need the extra whizzes of the 5S, much prefer the Cs more-sensible black screen frame and slightly-rounded, rock-solid actually sensual poly back.
Had to slap an ugly-white swiss-cheese half-case mainly to protect the too-exposed glass. Completely de-sexed it but sometimes, when were alone and that cheesy case comes off ... ...

The 5c made me come back! Saw a side of apple I have not seen in years (g3 clamshells) and no more glass metal casing. Sooo boring.

Well all I ever knew was iPhone. And offered opinions with out being an actual user of the competitors.
Incorrect, but keep believing that if it helps you feel better about your own purchase.
Didn't even think about it. But I don't "hate" the 5c or anyone who buys one. There seems to be some kind of civil war between Apple fans over the 5s and 5c and I really don't understand why.
Love the Accord reference btw, I drive the 4 cyl with leather so a mix of the two stated above

is your lifeFry's is currently selling 5C's for $29 on contract. I could sell my 4 for as much as $150 and make a profit (if you don't consider the long-term costs of a contract).

Well what is sad about your life is that a signature on a forum made so much of an impact that you had to go out of your way and post about it.
I went 5C.
I had a hard time deciding at first but the ID Touch thing is something I don't even care about. The features of the camera are cool but I don't think for what I'd be using it for it is worth the extra cash.
What drove me to the 5C was the colors, I really wanted green but they only had blue in stock. Loved the design and the overall look of the 5C so much and I was so happy with the choice, that is until a week later when I got the clicking or loose screen issue which is driving me crazy. When the phone is being used and warms up I find that the left side of the device seems to loosen up and the screen can sink in some as well as a clicking noise.
In any even after seeing and hearing of many others with the same issue I decided that instead of just getting it replaced and having the same issue again I'd just upgrade to a 5S. Will be going in today to do the exchange. Honestly after holding both and playing with both for a while I much prefer the feel and look of the 5C which I was keeping naked, I will definitely be putting a case on my 5S as I'm not fond of the look.

Or go with EE/T-mobile. Same price but you can have unlimited 3G instead of a measly 1GB on 4G which will be gone in a week.
