Nope... I still have to manually re-connect to my wifi network everytime my MBP wakes from sleep.

Too bad.

Well, at least it fixed that WiFi problem on my MB, so I'm perfectly happy. Or at least happy until I connect an additional display display and want to run something in full-screen...

Like some of you, I still have to manually re-connect my Wi-Fi network. It is the only problem I had.

LDAP authentication to is still broken... of all the issues Lion has, if I can't get this one addressed/fixed, the rest of them are moot since I will not be allowing 10.7 Macs on my network.

[worthless complaint]I think Apple is just trying to make M$ not feel so bad about Vista by releasing their own (so far) fail OS. Perhaps I'm just bitter... [/worthless complaint]

Nope. I still have the optical out issue on my Late 2009 Mac Mini.

I'm in the middle of a clean install to see if it helps. I tried a DIY fix before the 10.7.1 update.

I have an open case with Apple so if it doesn't work, it goes in for diagnostic checks. :(

Nop, i was wating for this update for the Mission Control bug to be fixed, but no luck. My windows are still getting one over the other =(

Boy am I glad I don't have or had anywhere near as many problems as many of you are having... I had the intermittent Wi Fi problem (rarely ) Lion 10.7.1 fixed it... I am happy!!!

I am having two weird issue with Finder. Whenever I shutdown or reboot, my Finder windows are never re-opened. All my other apps are fine. The other is Finder doesn't seem to remember my view options. I have set all windows to open in icon view, but whenever I reboot they show up in column mode.

Anyone run into these issues?

FaceTime still not working

After installing Lion, FaceTime stopped working and the situation is still the same after last update.

Hi,

Never thought of that. I'm new to Apple MacBook Pro. I bought it as a reconditioned unit in Feb 2011 and it's a mid 2009 MBP. Should I bring it to the Apple store and get it checked out?

Thanks, Jerry

I have a mid 2009 MBP and I'm having the same issue. My battery is at 98% health and was getting 7 hours on a full charge until the day I upgraded to Lion. Battery life dropped instantly to 2-3 hours. I have some Apple engineers working on a fix with mine. It has been suggested that the issue is related to the GPU's. The update did not fix my issue.

Well my Finder windows show back up after shutting down or restarting, but still having issues with Finder not remembering view options.

possible. you might try "calibrating" the battery, also. run the machine down to 0 battery life and then let it sit for 4-5 hours in the "Dead" state. then charge it all the way back up. this is to help the battery remember the full vs dead state, and can improve battery life if done monthly/bi monthly. my machine's battery life is about the same, though it was on the decline last year prior to lion being released. I don't think that the other person's anecdotal evidence has anything to do with your situation. My guess is the battery is just getting older. try calibrating it and see if that helps. I monitor my computer's stats at all times and haven't noticed a huge difference in cpu use from SL to Lion, if anything I use less cpu overall now (5-15% of the capacity of my core 2 duo as compared to the 10-20% on average under SL). give it a shot, report back!

going into full screen is still lagging.. Quicktime does not "respond" to the mouse clicks..

Wifi issue fixed after install of 10.7.1 and a PRAM reset..

BUT no Safari forces me to reload a webpage if I have multiple tabs open..

Nope, but going back to Snow Leopard did.

It seems Apple got really careless with Lion. I appreciate some of the real improvements but it's not enough IMHO to deal with all the bugs.

re: no

No it didnt I still can't share internet connection to iPod it keeps loading..... on app store.

For me:

1. WIFI problem fixed. Connection does not drop now.

2. Mail problem remains. Rules were not fired or fired randomly.

3. Display doesn't sleep not fixed. Screen will not go to sleep despite settings in preferences.

Safari still has memory issues

Safari is still using tons of memory:

Safari: 348MB
Safari Web Content: 882MB

So Safari is using over 1GB of memory.

Much as I love Safari and want to use it over the other broswers, Google Chrome is using only 83.8MB.

Did you look at the renderer processes of Chrome? Each tab has its own renderer process.

Thanks for that. I guess that changes things drastically on paper at least, bringing Chrome's processes up to about 500mb in total.

But one thing is for sure, Chrome isn't suffering from the stuttering and lagging scrolling and tab switching that Safari is suffering from. Safari seems to work fine with only 3 or 4 tabs, but anything more seems to cripple it.

EDIT: After moving all the open Safari tabs to Chrome and quitting Safari, there's a clearly noticeable increase in the green free memory in the Activity Monitor pie chart. I don't want to use Chrome (I prefer the native feel of Safari and the Reading List, swipe features, etc.) but if this is how things will be, then I will have to stick with Chrome until Safari and its memory-hogging issues get sorted out.
