my 2019 MacBook Pro butterfly keyboard has been perfect I don't want the old thick style, also the animation in iOS 13.2 was not for AirPods but for the beats headphones, so I doubt this MacBook is ready it will be 2020

Since when does Apple have icons/animations built into their OS for Beats?

I'm guessing the same price as existing MBP. Other than a little thinner bezel, new keyboard, and upgraded processors there isn't much as far as we know. Of course this is Apple and they could use increase the price for the heck of it.

I think they are keeping around the existing models at the current price points. They may even refresh the existing models with some minor spec bumps. This new model is an opportunity to introduce a higher price point, just as was done with iPad Pros, and the iPhones, and reportedly the AirPods Pro.

Yeah but now I don’t know whether to buy this or wait for the ARM macs next year o_O. The new Mac Pro is intel of course so they’ll be supported for a long time, but looking at my iPad Pro crush 6k video rendering the way it does, a fanless ARM mac is too appealing . Plus no intel markup...

Hi, this looks interetsing but I'm not getting excited until it does come out. I've gor a 2011 MacBook Pro. There's nothing wrong with it but just wondering if it's time to updgrade. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Larger higher res screen?
Probably vega16 baseline. I dont see them stuffing 555x in this.
Its not gonna be same price as 15” baseline

Since beats headphones are Apple owned and are coming out October 30th with active NC so it does

Apple has owned Beats for many years and there has been no OS integration in a visual sense. You’re basically using your predication, to back up your predication.

Stop repeating the same over and over again because there will be no October event this yet or else the invites would’ve already been sent. This new MacBook Pro could be released in March next year, at best.
I believe last year they were sent a week before the event. If there WILL be an event, invites will go out today or tomorrow.

Doesn’t it seem late for invitations? I feel like they wouldn’t just release the 16” MacBook Pro as just a press release. Maybe invitations will go out today or tomorrow, who knows? 🤔

This would be a smaller event, and I think Apple has form for sending invitations out for these with about a week's notice (or less) when doing a second one in October.

Is the MacBook Pro branding necessary? Thats a lot of wasted space. I don't have it on my Early 2015 13 inch MBP.

Still no touchscreen... what a waste. I haven't purchased a new machine in over 4 years because I've been so uninterested in the updates they have done. The touchbar is still a silly gimmick for what I do, and is an annoyance to my colleagues. I primarily use my computer for drafting and graphics for work, and the only reason I need to buy a new one is that I can not upgrade my current machine. Apple is becoming such a disappointment as a professional machine.
