I qualify, but am not interested.
Except the good channels subsidize the bad ones. If they broke things down on a per channel basis you may be looking at more like 10-15 dollars per channel, not 2-3.Only if you wanted to replicate what you get with cable. Personally, I watch maybe 30-40 channels total (and that includes the multiple versions of the same pay channels).
If we could choose the channels we actually wanted I suspect that even at $2-3 per channel, I'd come out way ahead of the insane pricing we are stuck with currently.
Prices would probably rise by your model, not fall. Like laws of thermodynamics, there is a certain amount of financial flow that is needed to keep the cable and network industry afloat. Take away something here, you'll pay more there. Besides, be careful what you ask for. Based on what the market likes, you may find yourself buried in reality shows and Fox News. Not bad, if that is your thing. Many others would prefer to gouge their eyes out.Let the market pick which stations stay around. The current model is just used to scam us by giving more channels which gives more ad revenue (which are bought regardless of viewership) and no real options for the consumer.
Uhm. What a load of tut. Passbook has plentiful use, Apple TV is still the best you can buy in an Apple Store in my opinion.
Also, this isnt a feature of an Apple product, this is an American content provider providing content to Americans. You may as well be angry that your nearest 7-11 isnt within walking distance or that you arent allowed to vote in the New Hampshire primary.
Perhaps Apple TV support hasn't been announced yet because NFL Sunday Ticket will be a key content feature for the new Apple TV this fall...
They might *want* to charge that much for each channel, but once the dust settles many of these channels will end up in $2-3 range or free, as there will still be tons of commercials that need eyeballs to be worth anything. It is strange to think each of these channels will end up costing more than HBO.Except the good channels subsidize the bad ones. So $300 for a sports package isn't a lot of money? That's a months car payment .. sheesh.
I believe in 2013 there was only two games that were "blacked out" in local areas its nothing like it use to be
I'd rather pay $200 than deal with the crappy quality and overall annoyingness of dealing with sites like firstrowsports.

Don't get too excited. I have some insider information on this. This isn't available to everyone. It is only available in 6 major cities:
NY
SF
Philly
Seattle
Miami
Atlanta
10 major universities
and Multi Dwelling Units (Apartment buildings)
Outside of college students you need to be in a market that can't get DIRECTV and need to prove it by your zip code. Students will be verified via the registrar's office and an EDU email address won't be enough.
I think a lot of people say "blacked out" because they force you to watch the local affiliate if the game is on one of your local channels. I missed recording a few Sunday Ticket games due to this.

I think Apple TV is the ONLY choice you have in an Apple store, I have not seen them selling alternatives. So I will not even bother with the rest of your weird reply. But have fun buying a Chromecast from your local Apple Store or 7-11 (???)

Can I use Apple TV to watch NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV?
No, Apple TV is not a supported device for the 2014 season.
When you compare DireTV's feed to that of the NFl...you'll realize DTV's is garbage. Nothing good about it. Don't understand why in the last 5 years they can't make it a solid feed without all the jumping, freezing and delays. Pffft. I usually get it for free along with Sunday Ticket Max so I don't complain. I just let a buddy log on since he doesn't have DTV. Even @ FREE he complains about the lousy feed. LOLI got Sunday Ticket online last year with the Madden deal, and I did not enjoy the experience. The feed was a solid minute behind real time, but the app had a score ticker on it that was real time, so basically every score was spoiled. And one Sunday it didn't work at all.
