disadvanteges of purchasing white iPhone?

I love my white iPhone.

The only problem as someone else mentioned that I've had is the lack of cases that look good with it. Then again, I go naked so it doesn't really bother me.

What is it with you Americans and your butchering of this phrase?! It's supposed to be, "I could NOT care less", as in you care so little that it's impossible to care any less.

Saying you "could care less" shows that you actually care by an undefined amount, which could be a massive amount, which is the complete opposite of what you're trying to say!

Back on topic: as someone else previously mentioned, the only disadvantage (probably) is that the plastic borders around the glass seem to get permanent scuffs in them quite easily. The overall look, however, is gorgeous. I love how it contrasts with my black iPad on a desk.

For those people who think white color is for girls, then they have major issues in their head. Sorry, it's true. They live in their own little world, believe everything what people said, judge people by their appearance, color, race, etc.

I feel sorry for those folks who feel that white is for girls....

one disadvantage I noticed is that I get A LOT more attention with the phone now. I had several cuties asking me if it's the new iphone 🙂

totally agree. every iPhone I've owned since now has been black. first ip4s was white and it kicks butt, especially in sunlight.

no real downsides. white shows dirt a little more than black thats about it..but than black shows fingerprints more.

-Finding cases which don't look a bit "odd" will be difficult, especially if you don't want a white case.
-It stands out A LOT, which some people might like but I personally think it risks attracting the wrong kind of attention.

Disadvantages? None. I have a white 32GB that's been running naked, wild, and free since launch day. Not a smudge on the plastic or rubber bezel or a scratch to be found anywhere. It's a damn shame to obscure the beauty of the Apple design in a case if you ask me. 😎

No discoloration.
Not a mark.

The only way it would be "yellow as piss" is if you quite literally dunked it in a toilet.

the only disadvantage is the LCD doesn't go edge to edge on either black or white. But with the white one you'll notice it more. With the black one it just phases into the black paint so you don't notice.

How does one believe that the white iphone will change color overtime? Nada. It will not change color overtime. Maybe the molding on the side of the iphone. The white paint is covered in glass so it will not stain nor turn yellow.

Have you been to the apple store? Have you looked at their display models? The white one gets played with 24/7 by customers who go in and out. Never has it turned yellow last time I saw it.

The only possible way I can think of white iphone turning yellow is smoking a cigarette and blowing smokes into it.

Well if you have one of those ZAGG Invisible Shield on it those turn yellow after a while. They absorb the oils of your skin and then turn yellow. My iPod Classic in white looked gross after a few years. Took it off in the last year... looks good as new. But I broke the center button on the scroll wheel. 🙁

Forget screen protectors. I'm talking as if there is nothing on the phone and is completely naked.

Obviously if you have screen protector like Zagg, over time those will definitely turn yellow.

Well I actually meant that you see it more on white... you don't see it at all on the black devices. Had one on my first Gen iPod Touch until I traded it in and got the 4th gen.

Man, I can't believe how many insecure people there are over a white iPhone. Since when does black mean guy and white mean girl? I had a black 3GS for over 2 years and was ready to switch it up to white this time around. I think it looks great.

I really like the black and white contrast you can get to like I have on mine. Go with whatever you want; don't listen to other people just because they struggle with their own sexuality, lol.
