Just got back from the same store. Spoke with a manager and he pulled her aside and told her it was unacceptable. Supposedly another customer was having the same issue with her.

The manager made her replace both iPhones for me while I taunted her the whole time with a smirk. :) Took some pics of her working around the store too on the new iPhones. Uploading to Facebook later.

Hope someone does the same to you one day at your workplace, so you can feel the same way....

In the beginning of this thread I actually felt really bad for the OP, and had hoped that he got everything worked out. Getting to the end, I don't feel he deserved a single thing from them.

OP makes himself look worse and worse with each post. What immature actions..

I concur. Going to the manager and simply getting things sort out would be a reasonable course of action, but why stop there?

Well said.

As a general rule, regardless of what type of store you are in, if you don't like the service, always ask for the manager. No reason not to, that's one of the functions of a manager.

I won't go to Apple Stores any more either - I find the whole shopping experience there awful.

Prices for apple stuff are the same everywhere, so I personally go to John Lewis. Excellent service and returns policy.

I hope you tell all your friends, co-workers, and family what a man you are. seriously, that little bitch deserved to be smirked at, right??? I also hope you waited for her after work and shouted at her as she was going home as well, at least so you could get her address and send her threatening...oops, funny notes in the mail.

Don't give him ideas. I have a feeling OP might actually think you were serious and that it was a *good* idea.

Actually, I'd also like to add the manager apparently was very unprofessional. A professional manager would have talked to her in the back to talk to her privately about how her behavior was unacceptable and would have just told the customer that she would be spoken to about her bad service and made sure the customer was taken care of (and maybe given a small concession for their mistake if the service was bad enough).

Scolding an employee in public is just plain bad form and shows badly on the manager. Then again, given OP's behavior, manager may have tried to pull her aside and OP made sure to try to over hear what he said to her.

Wow hate to see what you do when Taco bell makes a mistake on your order. I hate to bust your bubble people aren't perfect. Neither is Apple or the Genius's that work there. For that matter neither are Apple customers. you got your way problem solved move on with your life.

And I must say I am very pissed actually. I came from Droids and other phones on Verizon and they always agreed to replacements whenever those crap devices failed in anyway - No matter how much typing it required on the computer to get me a replacement.

Not only did I waste gas driving to the mall to get it looked at but I left with the same issue and wasted gas on the way back home.

I am embarrassed to be an Apple product(s) owner right now.

I take it you are single? ... maybe she just didn't like you and your smirk

Well at McDonalds they didn't have Chicken nuggets so I smashed the drive thru window.

Wow. You are a loser.

OP will be foreveralone and he deserves it.

OP is a beta virgin that took his frustration of endless rejections out on a vulnerable female employee. He was probably attracted to her.

Both iPhone 4's I own on Verizon have issues with the home button being very mushy and sometimes being unresponsive.

Made Genius Bar appointments and came in with both phones and showed the girl the issue. She had to click the buttons crazy hard to get them to work and deemed it ok...

I kindly made a fuss about it and said I wanted a replacement for both devices since they were bought brand new without issue and this issue arose. This is what she said to me:

"Yeah, this is a hardware issue and doing a replacement is just too much paperwork and work to restore everything. I would say just press the button harder."

The store was about to close and they wouldn't budge on the issue...I am actually very disappointed with customer service here. This isn't the first time I've had issues with that Apple Store (Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH).

A year ago when I bought my Macbook Pro there, one of the employees, dropped my Macbook Pro and tried to sneak it back in the bag...And when I said I wanted a new one, she gave me huge attitude.

Lesson learned, I am never buying from that Apple Store EVER again and will talk with a manager tomorrow or something.

Sounds like since the day was finishing up the woman at the Genius Bar was just tired and couldn't be f*cked doing anything else for the day. My suggestion: Try a different store or go early in the day if possible. If you go again they will replace it. By no means does a replacment mean a lot of paper work you just sign something and your done.

Have you read the whole thread?

 So not true. I'll show you her pics later. She was very ugly. They should really have standards for employees working the front of the store. Just saying.

I read this thread yesterday and felt pretty bad for the OP, but then I read the entire thing, and I must say that he/she is completely retarded. Maybe that girl didn't like your attitude as much as we all don't right now. Too bad your phones got replaced because your attitude doesn't deserve it anymore. You gave us the info on which Apple store you went to, and it'd be alot better if someone called the manager there and spoke to them about YOU instead.

That is absolutely disgusting. It says more about you than her the fact you did this. Absolutely no sympathy from me, you should be ashamed of yourself. I'm really in no position to discipline you but this just disgusts me.

And you do know it's illegal to take the photos and you can be sued for posting them online so your really the loser out of this. What do you get out of the photos or taunting her, do you really need to bully her?

I had a finicky home button on my iPhone 4 and took it to the Apple Store. The "genius" said sure I hate that problem too!

4 min later I walked out with a brand new iPhone n

Twice they were out of ice cream and mocha mix.

wow this is funny, the love for apple from some fan boys here is so much that they will even defend crappy apple workers that are not doing their jobs. OP I say you post those pics so that everyone can see the crappy apple worker and so people can stay away from her.
