Disappointed with Apple Store

Is this thread real!?

Surely it's not possible for people like the OP to exist outside of some kind of twisted psycological thriller?

I'm seriously thinking it's made up and is someone's idea of amusement.
 
We think we've come so far and now we see this.

Just got back from the same store. Spoke with a manager and he pulled her aside and told her it was unacceptable. Supposedly another customer was having the same issue with her.

The manager made her replace both iPhones for me while I taunted her the whole time with a smirk. :) Took some pics of her working around the store too on the new iPhones. Uploading to Facebook later.

Pretty off topic... But, do you have apple care? I'm just wondering if you take an uninsured iPhone to the genius bar If they'll just turn you away?

Apple Care is not insurance. It is just a warranty extension that kicks in the second year. Apple does not offer insurance which has to do with accidental damage. That's a third party issue.

Yeah, but judging by some of his last posts, I'm inclined to think he is trolling (he is obviously being sarcastic/silly in response to some people). I'm not so sure he started out trolling (might have started out being serious and then when people started getting upset with him decided to just troll them rather than defend himself).

Not saying I didn't fall for it myself but I can't say where he was serious (if he ever was) and where he just was having fun with us (I hope it was before the whole post about taking her picture and posting it up. Seriously, OP, if you were serious about that, get some psychological help!!!).
 
This guy sounds like one of those "Forever Alone" types with an attitude. No wonder the girl pissed on his cheerios that first time.
 
Why do people still have this "I am a customer so you owe me the world" ******** mentality? Just because you demand a replacement on a subjective issue doesn't mean you will get it.

And exactly how much of a "drop" was the macbook pro? Inches? Do you SERIOUSLY think that warrants a replacement? Get real.

I loved pissing people like you off when I was in retail. It was too easy.

I had the exact same problem with my iPhone 4. I just explained it to the "genius" who told me that closing apps in the multitasking bar should help a bit, but he could replace the phone anyways.

I didn't mind getting the replacement and my new one has a better button. Still too soft, but that is a discussion for another post :p

When I was still in retail, I once had a customer bring a g4 imac back to the store hours after purchasing it because it didn't come with the mouse pad we had been using on the demos. He threatened to call the police if we didn't give him one.

Then, some months later, we had another customer make a big stink because of our return policy. It stated that any cash transactions over $200 must be returned as a check. Well this idiot called the police and told them he was being robbed. Needless to say he was charged for misusing 911 and wasting police resources. It was the greatest day of my life, and the coolest thing I have ever seen.

So go ahead, call the police because you don't understand how retail works. Watch what happens. Idiots.

Damn Chris... You turned a story that you had a lot of support from the forum, into showing your a real ass.. Can't wait until you drop those iPhones in the toilet or better yet, the glass shatters because they were in your pocket when you fell off the top bunk of your bunk bed you share with your sister in your moms basement... And there goes teary eyed, snot nose Chris having to jump on his huffy and pedal his ass back to that store begging for them to give you a break. Hopefully you will have the luck of the draw and have to deal her again.

I actually had sympathy for the OP when I first saw this thread. I didn't notice it was posted by chris2k5 though. All of his posts (including those outside this thread) are basically the same and show his true colors. I have no sympathy for people like you. Learn to gain some respect most importantly for yourself, and then society. I feel bad for the Apple Store employee. Knowing your kind of attitude, you probably didn't even have problems with the phone, and you probably lied about the Apple employee telling you that "it's too much work."


Anyways, back to the thread .... screw you.
