You seem to think the world revolves around the US, the EMV standard has been in the UK for a number of years, the US lags generally due to it's size and fragmentation.

Sorry, you'll have to take that chip off your shoulder before I'll bother reading the rest of your posting.

The EMVCo tokenization standard is here:

https://www.emvco.com/specifications.aspx?id=263

Note the publication date for version 1.0. It leverages the earlier EMVCo standards, but tokenization is new. Apple Pay is the first commercial implementation of it.

Come back when have read it, and can discuss it without your holier-than-thou attitude.

If not, have a nice day.

Bad day? did you get told off at school or your boss give you a dressing down for not listening? It must be hard not being liked much.
I am on the morale mount of Apple yes, I had already read the original EMV spec so respect your elders and discuss things properly :) be blessed in information dear son, Apple do get things wrong and you can't go around blaming others when they do. Simple point really, you posted it's UK banks fault , thats crock from everyone I've talked to here..UK completed conversion to EMV back in 2006, when did the US? with online transactions set to double in the next few years, fraud is predicted to climb, there are many tokenisation solutions being brought forward, not all of them are equal, so go and discover facts first..
You can reply to this...I however won't, I'm busy can I ignore you later?
