I keep telling myself I’m going to cancel, wait a year then binge on the Marvel content their putting out by I headed the warning on WandaVision and stuck with it for the first 4 episodes and the payoff was huge. I’ve not started Falcon and the Winter Soldier yet. Is that any good???
No. I mean it’s ok. But not good. Goes no where. Makes no sense. Some good action. If WandaVision is 7/10 it’s 4/10.

Never ran into the any pron rabbit hole but if you designate an account for kids Netflix still advertises their TV-MA content in the channel. HBO you can make your account for teens and all the PG-13 movies disappear and it just shows you shows for 5 year olds. Sometimes I wonder if anyone in Silicon Valley actually has children.
Not sure if I understand you correctly, but if I do, that's not how works for us. The kids Netflix has no mature content at all. Not even ads. I set my Netflix Kids setting to TV-PG, and they only ever get PG and below. This is how I've set it, and this is all they get:

Or are you talking about Apple TV where you might have multiple Netflix accounts?

When ATV+ had the combo Showtime deal almost had a disaster, my kids had a group of friends over same night I signed up for the deal. My daughter comes running in the Kitchen and asks me what erotica means :eek::eek: WTF I didn't know Showtime had a after dark pron channel. I was pissed at G rated Apple for not having a heads up about it.

If you have kids hundreds of times. My kids constantly rewatch Disney movies. Plus I don't have to worry too much about what they watch. Unlike Amazon Prime, Netflix and, Youtube Kids.
Giggedy

I only have Apple as a free Apple offer from a new phone, I will not be renewing it if I have to pay, but the 4k quality is very good (unless they bump up their content).
Disney 4k is excellent as well, due to stepping up TV formats I get to see a lot first time on the big screen better quality and as I held off the usual suspects on iTunes, quite a few I have not bought I now get 4k. All that catch up+new content means I was happy to renew.

Just wanted to mention Netflix is available in more countries than Disney+ due to Disney's International licensing issues. Which may take a few more more years to sort it all out. But lots of headroom.
It depends though Disney was projecting 110million, we will see

No Disney+ here where I live and I think it won't come in the foreseable future too.
And I don't think for Disney is worth to bring it here either. Too small market and there would be too few customers.

We already got Netflix since 2016, HBOgo, and some local VOD services from cable/Internet providers... Apple TV does work, but is mostly unusable for the local "average Joe", because no UI translation and no subtitles for any of the shows.

You are right, both Netflix and HBO did a pretty good job in that matter.

good for them. it's good to have real competition. disney+ isn't really for me though. only joined to watch S1 + S2 of The Mandalorian when they came out. if i ever want to rewatch Star Wars i'll join again or when that new Obi Wan Kenobi show is out. not interested in Marvel movies.

netflix is still my go to service. hopefully Disney+ can improve their library in the future.

I never understood how Disney can own literally everything and monopolise through owning Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Fox, etc, and it's perfectly ok for them to do this.

At the end of last year I subbed just to watch the Madalorian in 4K without any hassle, then cancelled as soon as it finished.

They don’t own NBC Universal, Warner, Sony, and Paramount to name a few large studios. Not really close to a monopoly.
