Did you do premarital counseling? Helped my wife and I before we were married to solve a lit of problems. Let me know if you need the number to the guy. Seriously bra, cool story. And married people shouldn't have to lie where they are at.

this girl is so dumb....I just hope I can keep cool and not let on that I know

she said she is in meat packing district which is on 12th street. I DONT THINK SO. Appreicate the support. not my finest hour here but going to get better soon.

I feel for you and we're all sorry you have to find it out the worse way possible...

things turn bad from time to time, but they always get better...

Just wait until next time, then sit outside when she says she is across town... Then knock on the door.

FMF won't prove cheating, but it can save you cab fare.

So the OP bought his wife the 4S and caught her cheating/lying the first or second day since the phone came out Friday. And then joins MacRumors specifically to tell everyone about it. Right. I have some cheap oceanfront property for sale in North Dakota if anyone is interested.

I live in NYC as well, just thought it would be funny to point out the sexual innuendo.

You aren't breaking the law for using a tracking device on your own property. You are part owner in everything she owns, phone, car, etc.

She's his property? And it's her phone. It's a personal item. And it's illegal to spy using certain electronic means, like keyloggers to read her mail, etc.

Google it people sand I gave two links that should serve as a clue that it's risky waters to swim in.

This is probably one of the most interesting stories since last year when a guy got his iPhone stolen from a girl only to have her add him on Facebook! Fake or not, it doesn't mean this isn't happening out there right now. You can deny his story, but let's not be gullible to think there isn't cheating in marriage. At least we know FMF works.

Am i the only one who thinks he needs more evidence? i.e. a photo of her on site of crime. FMF just proves she was at another location but was she actually cheating or just secretly doing something else.

If it were me i'd hire a PI or just go down to east village with my DSLR to get nice pics of her kissing her lover goodnight :p

You want unequivocal proof OP...right now its still mostly conjecture. Reasonable conjecture but still an conjecture.

The only logical thing to do now is to kill her so you can be sure to get your iPhone back, that is the important thing at this point.

Seriously though, kinda sucks if it is true. :(

That's quite a rude assumption to make. I took the time difference into account. Thanks for being a dick though.

Apparently not very well.

I'm in the Pacific timezone; 10:35 pm + 3 hours = 1:35 am. Most recent screenshot he took was at 1:26 AM (9 minutes earlier). Nothing suspicious here.

I'm in trouble too.

Just snapped a candid photo of my mother-in-law's rack and it wound up getting Photo Streamed to my wife's iPhone.

BJ

I got my wife a new 4s and loaded up find my friends without her knowing. She told me she was at her friends house in the east village. I've had suspicions about her meeting this guy who live uptown. Lo and behold, Find my Friends has her right there.

I just texted her asking where she was and the dumb b!otch said she was on 10th Street!! Thank you Apple, thank you App Store, thank you all. These beautiful treasure trove of screen shots going to play well when I meet her a$$ at the lawyer's office in a few weeks.

thankfully, she's the rich one.

Apple, bringing families together :)

moral of the story?

when your wife says she hates "Meat Packing" ... she does not mean "all meat"

good luck

.

Wrong. If they are married, it's THEIR phone, and he can install the app on it if he likes.

Please just stop talking out of your ass when you clearly have no idea about what is or isn't legal in this situation.

Except that those weren't the times I was talking about. Look at when the texts were sent/received. It took him all of 3 minutes to text her and get a reply, after which he quickly opens a thread here. Maybe I'm crazy but I see that as suspicious.

That just means it took him 9 minutes from the time of the screenshot to post, doesn't seem suspicious to me.

Ok, maybe it's just cos I'd calling a friend or something before making threads in an iPhone forum. I guess it's his choice of what to do though.

Call me crazy, but logging into a tech site, to post about how effective FMF is just doesn't sound right to me. As a man, I think some trivial forum discussion would be the LAST thing on my mind. I'd be too worked up about confronting her or something else. Signing up for and logging into MR would certainly not even cross my mind.

Besides, there have been apps available, for quite some time, that would've provided him confirmation of what he's been suspecting all along. For example, downloading Google Latitude to her phone or simply activating Find My Phone on her device. If he was able to download an app into her phone without her knowledge, surely, turning on FMP is a lot quicker and easier to do.
