I don't have anything listed under reservations but I received a conformation email?

same here (see above)... even though I logged in with the same Apple ID... are the 2 not connected?

Why would it be coming up on the app but not the online store?
 
as others have said. use the apple store app to do it, tried again again online to no success, download the app, reserve an iphone and i'm good to go, got my confirmation email and all
 
Okay guys so that was definitely a glitch because I just tried it once more and it DID ask me for my Apple ID so I finally have a reservation.

It's showing the full price of $699.99, but honestly, as long as I have an iPhone reserved under my name, I'm sure I can get the correct price once I'm at the store.

Yeah, I don't think that reservation thing is true. My conformation email has all my correct details in it (my plan information and all that). I made the reservation at 7:00am CST this morning.
 
Phew. It's not a confirmed order but its something. Checked through the Apple Store App

i dont see any reservations either. but when i try to reserve it again it tells me i could only reserve one per apple id..which means that my apple id already reserved the phone..plus i got the confirmation email.

No confirmation e-mail yet.

I pre ordered the iphone 4 at the Apple Store using the Apple Store App on someone else's iphone. I entered my account information through itunes and proceeded to the Apple Store App to pre order my iphone 4. A confirmation on the app confirmed that my iphone was successfully pre ordered yet I have not yet received a confirmation e-mail. Is there a chance that the pre order was not successful because I used someone else's iphone to pre order it? How long does it usually take for a confirmation e-mail to be sent? I'd appreciate your help! Thanks!
 
tried it again and worked for me too. finally asked for my apple id. then came to the page which said "your reservation is confirmed." better than before i guess! :p just gotta wait for that email...

Oh, I take it back. It doesn't show up on the website, but it DOES show up on the iPhone app. Yay.

I don't think that method of checking works properly. I pre-ordered two early this morning and got both confirmation emails. I tried to order it again during the day just to check and it said that I already have an order in for the current apple id.

For me, reserved online with correct plan pricing and info, received confirmation email, check iphone app for reservation confirmation.
 
For what its worth, the iphone app says I have a reservation and I got an email. But the apple retail section online doesn't list anything for my account. I reserved the iphone through apple.com, and NOT the iphone app.

I ordered it around 8 AM this morning and got the email right after that.

So I guess if you don't have it online, but got the email, check the iphone app. Maybe the online retail site is screwy.
 
I saw that screen and then tried the whole process over again and then it let me log in with my Apple ID and now I have reservation.

The pricing is off though, saying $699.

According to AT&T this is my upgrade status:
iPhone Upgrade
As a valued AT&T customer, we can offer you a discounted iPhone upgrade with a new 2-year commitment and an $18 upgrade fee.

Doesn't that mean $199/$299 price?
 
Here is how to check your reservation to make sure it is in the Apple system.
1. Go to apple.com
2. Select apple retail store at the bottom of the main page.
3. Select the store that you reserved the phone for and go to their retail page.
4. Up towards the upper right of the screen you will see in blue "check my reservations."
5. Click on above and you will sign in with your apple ID and be able to check that the phone is reserved.

I suggest everyone who has done this, check it out to make sure. :). Hope this helps.

WTF. I checked and it said my sister does not have a reservation. I went through the process myself for her because she was at work. Everything went fine all the way though the "see you at the store" part.

Did you get the confirmation email? If you haven't, that's probably why.

I'm getting $699 on my reservation too and I am 100% sure that I am upgrade eligible. I think it's just yet another glitch and that we'll be able to get the correct price when we are in the store.

Won't help, I didn't sign into an Apple account to reserve the phone. She's new to AT&T, I put all her info in (Name, phone number, address, SSN, etc).

You might just want to give your local Apple store a call. Hopefully they'll be able to tell you if your sister is on the list.

Got it, here's what I did.
I had her create an Apple ID and sign into the App Store on my phone. Exit the App Store.
Go into the Apple Store app and she is now logged in there. We reserved a phone under her Apple ID and it says it will be available on June 24th.

If you click the "Cancel your reservation" link at the bottom of the e-mail, it takes you to an edit/cancel page, which u can see your reservation, if you want to actually see it on apples website.
