Works like a dream to me - fantastic product. Not to impressed with iMovie 08, find it awkward to do simple things.

iPhoto and iWeb are brilliant.

why are you scaremongering that its buggy. Some people may have no issues whatsoever, none the less its good that there are updates already it means that obvious major bugs will have been addressed and resolved, whether you buy it now or in a months time, it wil get updated via software update

I agree; the forums are here to solve problems through collective experience. Obviously, warning people off of buying iLife isn't too useful in solving a problem. And to beat a dead horse: for every person who posts here or elsewhere with a problem there are thousands of satisfied customers. The OP's problem sounds truly frustrating, we've all been there, but c'mon: stick to the facts and the knowledgable folks who hang out here will likely find a solution.

Sorry to hear you're having problems squeeks, that's a bummer.

From what I have read in this thread it seems that there may be something in Final Cut that's messing things up for you.

I'm running iLife08 on a MBP SR 17" and a C2D iMac 24" and it both cases it flies! Much better than iLife06, never seen iPhoto or iMovie so fast.

I don't use iDVD much, but I can confirm that it works like a charm for me.

Let us know when you figure it out.
