I "dunk" my Peanut Butter and Jelly in milk. I thought this was a fairly common thing, but everyone I mention it to thinks its weird, or disgusting. So how many of you dunk your PB&J?

P.S. I know it's random, but thats what you get at 12:30AM :)

I've never heard of that. Doesn't the bread get too soggy?

Not very.... It also helps if you use semi-decent bread (IE Anything but Wonder) :)

Im kinda suprised at the results so far, I guess I might be the onyl one, come on someone has to dunk, go on admit it......

    Hmm...that's an odd one.

Sounds like you need to kick your PB+J up a notch. Kick the jelly to the curb, toast up some nice bread, fry up/caramelize some platanos (plantains), add a little cinnamon *BAM*.

On the other hand, if you just like the taste of peanut butter and milk together, go all out and make yourself a peanut butter milkshake. Yummmmm....

Hell yah I dunk! Ya know i did some experiments earlier today. I got home from school, and felt like having some peanutbutter. So i got a big spoonful. I happened to spot a new bag of jumbo jetpuffed marshmallows on the counter, so i coated one with pb and ate it. Then i put it in milk and it was good again. Just thought id share this discovery with yall. :)

Ive got another question that you should add to the pole: Chunky or Smooth PB?

1 vote for chunky here ( i got that jiff super chunk haha)

edit: to the guy below me: yah the milk didnt really do a whole lot for it, it just made the peanutbutter wet and easier to go down.

soggy bread.... just what I look for in a good PB&J

    No I don't dunk, sorry :p

edit: to the guy above me, that I could see working, marshmallews with peanut butter. Although still the milk part seems rather sketch to me. That could be because I'm mildly lactose intolerant though so I generally don't drink milk anyways...

Nope, I don't dunk. But I do toast the bread, and sometimes I put some granola in my PB&J! :)
