Do you eventually just get used to the size of the iPhone 6 Plus?

Yup. And once you do there's no going back. Everything smaller is just , well, smaller and kinda lacking something.

You get used to it but still doesn't make the Plus fit smaller in your pocket. Just one of the sacrifices you need to make 2 sport a huge screen.

Having been a habitual switcher between iPhones and Android devices it took almost no time to get accustomed to the size of the 6 Plus. It definitely was a shock coming from the 5S/6 I was using before getting the Plus though.

I came from an iPhone 5S then a Galaxy Note 3 to an iPhone 6+. So, the bigger adjustment was when I went from the 5S to the Note 3. When I got the iP6+, I was already loving the size.

yea, no problem other than trying to do somethings with one hand. but doesn't bother me at all.

For perpective, I would say that I got used to the size faster than I got used to the new position of the sleep/wake button . ...;)

While dependent on which clothing, I really do not even notice it in my pockets as much as I use to.

My 6+ isn't a problem in any of my jeans, khakis or slacks. It doesn't fit in a few of the shorts and pants I wear when jogging or working out. Doesn't really matter though, because I've never taken any of my iPhones with me when I jog or work out.

i have tried the six + it doesn't feel that big to me, but i don't own it yet because my upgrade is in march

I mostly keep it in my handbag so fitting in a pocket has never been an issue for me. I do keep it in my coat pocket whilst I'm walking to the station if I'm listening to music or a podcast and it fits.

I avoid keeping my phone in my pocket for long periods of time anyway because my iPhone 4 was stolen from my coat pocket whilst I was on a train a few years ago.

Here are the phases I've gone through:

1. Yaaay I'm getting the BIG one! (came from the 4S).
2. Wow - this thing is awesome! No regrets!
3. Okay this is a bit too big. One-handed use is tricky. I'm starting to think I would have been okay with the smaller one after all.
4. Yeah, too bad I didn't get the smaller one. Oh well.
5. You know something? I'm glad again! Maybe I'd be happy with either and find the good points of whatever I had, cause I had it, you know?! But on the 6+ I've watched Netflix episodes late at night in bed when I couldn't sleep and I would never have been able to do that with the smaller phone (comfortably). And it looks cool to me again - like a big flat yummy bar of chocolate only not chocolate lol (like "I got a golden ticket!"). It's harder to lose and fits in all my pockets just fine. All my tasks are easier BESIDES the one-handed thing but most of the time I don't have to be one-handed. And besides, Seri can do half the things I ask her to instead of my needing two hands, and there's also the double-tap option to bring the screen down so it's only when it's too wide and I'm trying to dial a number or text something that Seri can't dial for me (for whatever reason). AND I don't have an iPad so it makes sense to have something bigger considering that. The conveniences for my aging eyes outweigh the inconveniences, also. So there.

I love it. My 6 plus feels regular to me now even though I don't use it one handed like before. This is a real good size as a mobile device. My case( Alixo 6L) makes it look like a grown up 5s. Watching videos coupled with the landscape orientation goodies makes it much better even though it locks up sometimes in landscape but hopefully that will be ironed out in future updates. No way I could go for a 6 or below. They look tiny now

I think it just depends on the person. I had the 5S, then moved to the 6. Just got the 6+ the other day, and I loved it immediately. The display is beautiful. It's definitely a 2 handed phone, at least for me lol.

Felt a little big at first, but now a 5S feels SMALL.

This forum is evidence that different people react differently though. Plenty of people went back to a 5S due to size. It all depends on the individual.

I had been wanting a larger screen for years. Made switching without looking back much easier.

Honestly apple got it right with the screen size and battery but the overall phone size and design for me was a huge fail. That plus is so big for no reason. obviously it works for some and not for others...like I said I switched to the 6 and dont miss the plus at all. i picked it up today after using the 6 for a week and it feels bigger than before.

My finances iPhone 6 now feels and looks small compared to the 6+, the screen size is great. When someone asked me to help them with their 5S i was shocked how small that phone seems now.

Exactly. Apple's design of the huge bezels was fine on the smaller phones, but they need to completely redesign the layout for at least the 5.5" size going forward. I know they have the home button, but the top could easily be trimmed down. The LG G3 has a similar styling with the white bottom, but very slim top black bezel and it looks great.

Not all of us came to the 6+ from previous iPhones. Before the 6, iPhones were too small. Screen was too narrow causing the keyboard to blow chunks.

I've had 4.7" non-Scamdung phones and wanted more, so I got the 6+. I could have settled for the 6 (Wife has one), but it would have been settling.

After getting the plus, I got rid of my iPad retina mini and went back to using full sized iPad Air 2.

Once they do that I will def go back to the plus cuz like I said the battery life and screen were def great but not worth the trade off of not being able to use the phone comfortably as well as the inconvenience of using it on the go.

I went for the 6+ and swapped it after a week for the 6. I'm a big guy but it was too big for me. I like to pull my phone out of my pocket while I'm walking and fire off a text, or quickly check something, and I couldn't really do that with the + without using 2 hands and stopping. I was conscious of dropping it and it just wasn't comfortable (for me).

The larger size just became an inconvenience and as soon as that happened it became clear I'd made the wrong choice. As an example I'd go to a restaurant and I'd have to pull the phone out and put it on the table as it would be uncomfortable in my trousers. I want my phone to be there ready for me but I don't want to have to think about it and have to start reorganising myself around it if you get me.

I'm really happy with the 6. Only thing I miss is the better battery life on the +. The physical size of the 6 is as large as I'd want to go. I'd still like a larger screen and maybe if the bezels can be shrunk then the screen can be increased to ~5" while keeping the same physical size of the current 4.7" 6?

Absolutely. I wouldn't trade my 6+ for anything. The first few days of having it are strange, but after that you will love the screen size and functions. Getting the right case helps too. I have a Portenzo Alano case and love it.
