No landscapers?!There are some rose bushes in the park, but they look like they haven't been well taken care of this year. In any case, they don't bloom until mid-summer.
Not offended at all. My wife is under a consultant and is aware the chiro is complimentary treatment. She hasn't gone there for the wrist as such, its just something they've looked at. It might not be something the chiro investigates in too much detail as its very painful for her, but they've helped with her stress levels from some adjustments which is at least helping her.Despite your avatar, you seem like a genuinely good dude, and I hope this isn't offensive, but chiropractic is nonsense for the most part. I know that some modern chiros actually forego the roots of chiropractic, but it's rooted in the belief that diseases are not real and that the symptoms that present as disease are simple due to spinal alignment. Cancer? Not real. Cold and flu? Not real. They just need the Chiro to align your spine. Modern chiropractics actually sometimes forego the roots of chiropractic and do acknowledge that it's nonsense, but still operate under the chiropractic umbrella. So what is their reasoning?
Alternative advice is great but it needs to be viewed in context. And I put chiropractic into the same category as faith healing, and personally I'm not ok with either of them.
At the same time, a back rub can feel SO good and the benefits can outlast the session.
That's the thing. In past years, there were people doing landscaping, trimming, etc. This year I haven't seen any of them.No landscapers?!
They just turn on the sprinkler system?
Yea some parks in cities that are well maintained I usually go walking in there. The newer ones are and also I don’t even trust myself on park bathrooms in the older public parks, people vandalise them! That's the thing. Well, they just started some major construction to the baseball field, so it's not like the city is totally neglecting this park. But the pavement needs to be redone, and I would have preferred they do that rather than whatever they are doing with the baseball field. But what can you do? I'm sure there are some town halls or community meetings where they take public feedback, but I hadn't been motivated to find out when and how to attend. I might start looking into it if the pavement keeps deteriorating the way they are!Yea some parks in cities that are well maintained I usually go walking in there. Would definitely go to town halls with city council to discuss the necessary issues around public parks.Well, they just started some major construction to the baseball field, so it's not like the city is totally neglecting this park. Looks nice 👍
I hope they eventually make other data collection devices - a screen-less leg strap (might sound like an ankle monitor) could be a good alternative. I don't mind some data collection over time to see how things have changed, but I do find a wrist watch to be just a bit of an unnecessary weight. My wife is selling her Series 10 as her consultant has recommended not wearing it due to some nerve issues in her wrist. Since taking it off shes noticed an improvement which is positive for her, but also a bit alarming. My Apple watch is so useful, but I also miss wearing some of my nice watches daily. Might have to start doing that a bit more I think.
