But you see, the iphone 6s is a phone. What's the point of comparing it to a tablet? When I decided to get a Mini 4, I looked at how it would meet my needs compared to other tablets. Even the plus-sized iphones are too small and lack the proper aspect ratio for comfortable web browsing (in my opinion, at least) or run genuine tablet apps. It doesn't matter to me if they have faster processors and touch ID if they don't can't run the apps and provide the screen real estate that even the smallest iPad can, and for my use at least, I haven't encountered a situation where the Mini 4 feels slow or unresponsive. Nor has the extra half second that the Touch ID takes been an inconvenience.
I understand the "paying for old tech" argument, but I don't really agree with the sentiment. I'm paying for a device that is excellent within its class and meets or exceeds my expectations in actual usage. I think that people on forums like this one get too hung up on specs and numbers, which is ironic considering how high end Android devices usually have more impressive specs than their Apple counterparts.
