Every piece of fruit she eats, doesn't matter if it is an apple, peach or orange, she slurps it. For instance with an apple, there's the crunch then a slurp. I know juice may be in the fruit, but you do not have to suck it out with every bite. Use a napkin!

firstly there is

Numnuts - Numnuts i can not tolleraty at all and it's becoming a problem a very serious one which i believe is effecting my work. for the following reasons

1. He has stupid sayings which drive us all incase. Some of them include quoting movies like from lethal weapon he will be like your back, yourblack and i am mad etc, tell your story walking, burps and says thats all i have to say on that matter, tries to do impersonatoins of mr burns of the simpsons and likes to say OH winge after everything. If you say something, like oh i went out for dinna last night, he will reply OH winge.

2. He comes in 5 minutes before the shop needs to be opened and he opens it. He sits there and sends / receives personal email. Spends more time out here anoying me and 2 others then he does work.

3. He storys us alot. Just to give u a definition. A story is something someone tels you an your couldn't care the least about. We get storyed about his motherbike trips how he clocks over 300KM that sort of BS and the one about his spare tire being lost mud. These would be fine to chat about AFTER work but not when the fones are ringing and customers are walking in.

4. He burps all the time, most of the time it's when i is behind u or talking to u, his phone (personal one) rings a lot and he is SMS'ing which we get told not to. There is one rule for him and one for us. He will moan if he sees us on the mobile but won't listen if we say what u doing with your phone is it work related?

thats about it!

I've got a co-worker who corrects everyone about anything. You could be talking to someone else and he would just walk up and sit there listening and then sit there and correct you.

Then there is another guy who is the most bitter person I've ever met. He is never happy and he always tries to make people as miserable as himself.

Then, finally, my favorite one. One of the co-workers sits there and tells me that I waste my life away by going to college and that one day I am going to wake up and realize that I wasted tons of time and money in school and I will regret it. He didn't even graduate high school.

i work with a young man that clips his nails in the office, except he does it with his teeth. *shudders* i think it's absolutely disgusting. i haven't decided if he spits or swallows and i'm not all that certain
I hate you. Now you will see why. :p

Your story brought up a HS memory that I would rather forget.

We were in class. Nose picker was in row one. My best friend and I were in row two. Another buddy was in row three.

It was break time, so my best friend and I turned around and were talking to our buddy in row 3. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to us, nose picker had turned around to eaves drop on our conversation. Meanwhile, he was "deeply" involved in picking his nose.

Well, our buddy was in a jovial mood and we were having a good BS session. Then all of a sudden, he looked like he was going to throw up and quickly left for the bathroom.

Later he informed us that nose picker had extracted a huge snotty bugger. We're talking big, long and juicy -- about 2 inchs. Then proceeded to eat it.

Just thinking about it, having seen nose picker extract other large ones, makes me nauseous.

Have a nice day! :)

Maybe someone should have explained it's not a source of nutrition. :p

No real complaints against specific co-workers. I just hate it when someone microwaves some food that smells like crap and stinks up the entire floor. Or when they burn popcorn.

 good grief, i'm SO glad i had already eaten dinner when i read that!

*leaves thread feeling a bit ill*

Yep that one happens Daily oh and when they forget to turn the toaster oven off and it starts smoking and the place stinks and sets off the smoke detectors

:D

I hate that as well. Stinks up the whole place. I mean, how hard is it to watch your popcorn pop for 4-5 minutes and stop the microwave when it's done?

When I read your post, that experience just popped right in my mind.

It was a vivid memory -- you see, at different times, I saw him do the same. This was not an isolated incident. It was just our buddies first time as seeing it close up.

Well, moving right along, I am glad that I don't have to work around any nose pickers! ;)

Annoying co-worker

I used to teach school in a team teaching situation. There were 3 of us and the team leader NEVER liked the third teacher,no matter who she was. But,she and I got along well. But stupid I'm not. For four years,I watched how she systematically got rid of 4 teachers. I knew she would eventually turn on me.:D
Sure enough, she all of a sudden had her own teacher's aide. She informed me that I was NOT to ask this aide to do anything because she was HER aide, not mine. hehehe She was also her friend.
I knew the next step. She wanted this "friend" to have my job as it looked like my H's company was going to transfer him.
To force the issue, she, the aide and the other teacher quit speaking to me. Then she,as team leader, would give us instructions then she would tell me she DIDN'T tell me to do what she told me to do. I would get in trouble with the principal as the "team leader" would smile at me behind her back.
They would go for lunch,me not invited.
I could not believe how stupid she was. If you WANT something from someone, you don't treat them like dirt. I didn't care. I was biding my time.:)
Sure enough, she comes up one day and said,"Jane's husband is getting a transfer but he won't take it if you are leaving. That way,Jane could have your job". I told her maybe she should have thought about that before she treated me so poorly.:D
Sure enough,Jane's husband decided to take the job and I resigned right after they left. Oh,and I got to pick who got my job. I chose a first year teacher.:D:p She was SO mad. lol

If you don't mind me asking where do you work (or what type of work are you in)? Obviously you know better than to listen to this person, but what does that guy do to make him think that education is a waste of time?

For me, well I'm lucky... not only do I have my own office, complete* with floor to ceiling walls and a door; :D I'm also working with a great bunch of people. The only complaint I have is that occasionally people have loud conversations/phone calls and should really close their doors...

*window to the outside world not included.

yeah i do, but he use to kick and slam the pc if he's mad..and i hate it..
