1- Good, because you didn't want to start me up on that subject

2- why would the feds of all people go after a 14 year old guy just after some enjoyment? wouldn't they be a little more caught up in arresting the people who actually took these photos, or worse, the rapists and adults who get kicks out of this stuff?

i hear ya, but before sayin im gonna get my whole family tossed in the clinker, you have to put it into perspective.

Some countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and The Netherlands, outlaw mere possession.
*edited* to add wikipedia link
possession = viewing it on your Mac, having it download to the cache.

Aged 14 or 80, the viewer is still seeing illegal pictures and documents.

Read 18 USC § 2256, esp bullet 8.

To the law, there is no perspective.

Speaking as a European (look at New York, follow line across until you see a shape of a woman sitting down right to left.. that's the UK the start of Europe) some of the predominantly American comments about the four letter P word are predicatably entertaining.

Isnt Iceland technically the most Western European country and therefore the "start of Europe"?

Not an EU member and I don't think it falls on the continental shelf but it has been over 20 years since I needed to learn that stuff. But was making easy for the U.S. members to look at N.Y. on a map and go east !

Courtesy of the CIA: strategic location between Greenland and Europe; westernmost European country; Reykjavik is the northernmost national capital in the world; more land covered by glaciers than in all of continental Europe

Why would you need porn in the house when it's all over the net?

I just need, funding, a marketing plan, a photographer, some models etc. etc. etc., trouble is everytime I start thinking about researching the industry I get side-tracked somehow??

Side-tracked from porn? Hmmm.....I think I know how it happened.

I voted no. But, I have two live action figures. They aren't very exciting, though...well, at least one of them isn't.

Soooo......one's the "giver"?

A relationship can be divided into stages of porn:

Stage 1: The guy is reluctant to admit to possession, use, & frequency of use; and the girl is reluctant to admit how much she wants to watch it too.
Stage 2: The stash is found & the woman checks out the material. And gets turned on!
Stage 3: The woman confronts the guy despite being turned-on!
Stage 4: The man defends himself and gets guilt trip that leads to watching together.
Stage 5: The woman initiates intimacy while viewing.
Stage 6: The guy becomes much more whipped than would otherwise be possible. However, he wears a mysterious grin @ all times.

This is a unviersal truth! Yeah, happens to every couple. Or that's what I keep telling myself.

Not gonna deny it I DO I DO!!! but its all on my hard drive its not like I have a collection of mags and DVD's...

That tape in the VCR isn't mine... so just put it in the drawer with all those other tapes that aren't mine. :D

But back OT, I've got a couple Playboys laying around somewhere, mainly just because I got 'em free and they're an interesting read... nothing I'd really care to use for its unstated purpose, though. I don't really see how people can consider a picture in a magazine to be sexy... I mean, it's just a staged and retouched picture of a girl you can't have and probably wouldn't get along with anyway. Sure it can be beautiful, but arousing? No...

Considering that the bulk of that was high res pictures and DVDr's...no, not that much.

That reminds me of when Spotlight first came out and we were spotlighting "porn" and other unsavory things to see what badness was on our drives.

Damn, Janey, I can't believe your porn collection is more than twice as big as my iPod!
