I really hate my job. I work in a call centre for the most expensive water company in the country so i have to take calls all day from angry customers asking why i'm ripping them off. I'm only there because it pays the mortgage but that's about to come to an end so i'll be quitting and hopefully trying to go self employed as a freelance photographer. I'll be able to work my own hours and only have to answer to myself!! i can't wait!!
If you hate your job, all you had to say was

call centre
and that would've told us everything. :D

I have two internships this summer. Neither pay, but thats not a big deal. I like both of them. The people I work with are great and I am learning a lot. I wouldn't want either of them as a career but since they are very similar to my major, they have taught me stuff I will need to know for the "real world."

Overall, I do like my job. The largest nitpick I have is doing graphic design work on Windows XP. I'm working on that, though. But it will probably be a year before I can get myself a Mac. Convincing an already understaffed IT department is going to be tricky.

But overall, I do like it.

I like my job. I work in my town library's circulation department. I've learned a lot about people since I started the job. You've got your total jerks that will basically threaten your life over a 5¢ overdue fee, and then there's the people that will have a nice little chat with you. Plus, some of the little kids are funny. For example:

Kid's mom="Grab your books and say thank you to the nice man.";
Kid="Cookie.";

Or when the kids use these Clifford DVD cases as paddles and start whacking each other with them.

And I forgot to say that I get the government employees discount from Apple. (~8%)

I love my job. I am an IT admin/Consultant for Medical Clinics. I support anything from "I can't print" to Active Directory. I get to drive around, meet new people, and its not quite a rushed environment as my last job. (Support for an ISP's Commercial Accounts and Admin of various servers including the old Windows boxes a cluster of FreeBSD 2.2 boxes, and the Windows based Phone switch)
I get paid mileage, and set my own hours. (as long as its during business hours of the Medical Clinic I am servicing) I also get paid 1/3rd more to do this job than my last job. You would think it would have been the other way around, based on the level of work I am doing now compared to then.

Ya, I do get to listen to Doctors tell me about their $2k+ laptops not working with Vista a lot, but since I get to use my MBP for work, they mostly shut up when they see it, which gives me time to click that "Allow" button that is in the window they hid behind IE. (Sometimes it like squirrels and shiny things. "OHH OHH!! Shiny!!", said the Doctor as I fixed him good! ;)

Mostly though, they are a blast to work with, I have one Doctor that loves to talk cars and racing with me, another that is always talking about fishing. And of course you have those Doctors that want to know about the Mac, or PC stuff. Surprisingly, or maybe not so much anymore, a lot of the Doctors are getting Macs, or have one at home, and want to use one at work.

seeing how I currently do not have a job, I do not like jobs in general cause no one seems to like me.. oh well will find a job eventually need money for college and a car to get me to college..

I have three jobs, and I like them all a lot.

The first job is maintaining my blog Cognitive Daily (see .sig). That's great, it's great to get paid for blogging, and it's great to be somewhat "famous," at least in my little corner of the blogosphere.

The second job is developing a new community website, ResearchBlogging.org (again, see .sig). Again, very rewarding, although right now it's an all-volunteer gig.

The third job is as a professional writer. This job is a lot more stressful, because it involves selling, but I love seeing my work in print, so I enjoy it as well. If I get the book I'm working on published I'll be even happier. And you'll probably see a link to the book website in my .sig if/when that happens.

Absolutely not. But I am not working here permanently, nor am I working here for the job satisfaction; I am working where I am to earn money and the right to live in this country (Japan).
