I actually regretted making that last post. :p I thought it would lead to this thread being closed.

I don't understand why people are so afraid of pee hitting their feet. I'm not a fan or a fetisher or anything, but it's not very dirty, and it doesn't make cleaning the shower or bathroom any more difficult, unsanitary, or disgusting. If you're happy to clean a toilet that's been used for the "other" thing, cleaning a shower that a person has pissed in certainly isn't so bad.

Na, I think it might have been along the lines of the adverse effect on eye sight.

Ouch. :(

There was this one time when I was riding on Amtrak. I was taking a shower and all of a sudden had to go. Well, there's no point in getting out of said shower, dry off, get dressed and then find out all the toilets are occupied in my car.

I cleaned up afterwards.

If I'm there and I gotta' go, I go. Do try and aim at the drain though since I'm not fond of wading in it.

All the concerts, taverns and various unsavory places I've ventured - the shower is one of the few locations I'm not ashamed to admit peeing in.;)

yup!

No, I don't. Here in Englandshire we have very modern bathrooms which feature a 'toilet' which is designed for this very activity, as well as providing a convenient place for your pets to get a drink.

of course i dont pee in the shower throughout the day. but theres something about the sound of running water that makes me go… so whenever i have a shower i gotta go.

I pee in the shower, and so does my gf. The first time we took a shower together, she peed on my feet. At first I was like, WTF? Then, I peed and that was that.

Urinating on ones feet is supposed to kill bacteria on them ;) At least I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

Which is why I usually just use the toilet whether or not I think I need to go before shower anyways. Plus, how long do you guys shower? Most people can sit though a 3 hour movie without peeing, so why not just hold it for 5 minutes?

Why not just let it go? I just don't see a problem.

its sterile. goes down the same drain as the toilet. sound of running water makes you pee phenomenon i.e. "go when you gotta go" attitude.

only negative thing about it is some people find it disgusting.

Of course. Out of all the times and places I have to pee, in the shower is the most "liberating." Just... let it out. There's no holding a fly open, pants up, aiming at a toilet, or etc. Just letting gravity work naturally.

I was in the shower once with my girlfriend. We started talking about peeing in the shower. She said she does it, too. Then she wanted to watch me pee in the shower... I have a shy bladder in general, but that took it to a whole other level.

lol...now thats gross especially since i brush my teeth in that vicinity
You brush your teeth in my sink...?!?

Oh, and when you brush your teeth, do you fill the basin and use that or just rinse it under the running water...?

How many of you guys do the housework and clean the shower? ;)
Well, my girlfriend refuses to clean out the drain under the shower/bathtub, despite the fact that I've not contributed with hair to the clogging there in years (;)), so that's my chore... :)

I've pulled some really nasty things out of there over the years (I used to have long hair, too, before moving in with my girlfriend), and a bit of pee is really the least of my concerns...

Why not just let it go? I just don't see a problem.

I guess I just find it a little gross, regardless how sterile pee may be.

This thread should be stickied, so all future MR couples know what to ask before they move in together :D. If their partner hadn't already answered it here, that is.
