That's another form of rationalization. People seem to think that the more people who agree with them, then the more justified they feel about what they're doing. Like I said before, it's no different than looting during a fire or riot.

Obviously you do care, but why? Both you and the OP have lambasted other users who you don't even know, allowing one tiny incident to dictate the ethics that they live by everyday. It's funny that this situation gets you all hot and bothered.

I had ordered a bumper online that took several weeks to ship. Before it did I happened to go to the apple store and saw that they had them in stock. So I bought one there and intended to return the one I ordered online. Before I could return it, apple refunded both purchases. Then I got an email saying I should download the free case app. I wasn't going to bother since I already got two free cases. Then I read through this thread. I just ordered a pixel HD case. If apple is going to offer me free stuff, I'm going to take it.

I got my refund on my bumper Tuesday morning in my account. Today, my free bumper was delivered! I'm keeping it for my second iPhone 4 that I'll be getting eventually.
