I sleep in Apple Watch Ultra 2, I slept before and with smaller watches. I track sleep and indicators, the alarm clock and calls at night wake up only me, not the whole family

Before I bought it, I hadn't used a watch for... decades, really. And when I did, I used to remove it in bed. Now that I have an Apple Watch, yes, I always wear it, except when I have a shower. Because of the sleep tracking of course.

However, after the first weeks, I'm trying not to be concerned too much about the sleep score, otherwise it makes me anxious and ruins my sleep... I have also disabled some of the recurrent notifications ("stand up", "you're walking less than yesterday", "you must complete the circles!") because I don't like being bossed by my watch :)
I already have a cat who does it, and wakes me up when it's breakfast time.

I think people sleep poorly these days because they consume too much content, and all kinds of gadgets and devices like smartphones and smartwatches disturb their sleep. Personally, I don’t keep any electronics in my bedroom, and even my alarm clock is analog. I sleep like a baby every night. You should try it. Oh, and it also helps not to stare at a screen right before going to bed, especially not in bed. You don’t need an Apple Watch to sleep better.

To be honest I mostly use my Apple Watch just to wake me up and then to check notifications.
I love how it wakes me up with just vibrations, it's so gentle. I hate the alarm sound even more because of that 🤭

Hmm, some valid points. Thanks for sharing...

Sure. Or use some self-discipline. Whichever works.

I do wonder if monitoring/knowing my sleep number via the Apple Watch, would frustrate me.

As it is, I often do not view or have the Activity app within view on my phone. Seeing some rings not closed, causes some internal struggles. 😂

Probably an OCD thing...

I would feel weird and out of place if I didn’t sleep with my Apple Watch to track my sleep. I also track my wrist temp for ovulation and tracking my cycle, tracking my Sp02 levels at night since I have sleep apnea, and now for the hypertension notifications. I don’t stress over the data I receive. I like data and trends, so I use it for that.

That sounds like quite a lot to handle. Good luck with everything...

Been wearing my watch as I sleep for a few years now. The silent alarm is really good, especially as I get up earlier than my wife. The sleep tracking is just a bonus, but with the sleep apnea detection I think that is another useful benefit from wearing the watch at night.

I charge my watch for about 30 mins when I am cooling down before sleep, and another 15 minutes or so in the morning while I am in the shower. Works fine and I never have trouble with battery. I’m in an S10.
