Do you stream music or do you have it locally stored?

Why do I have to pay for these services when I already have a really good app with the name "Music"...?!?!?!And don't tell me that is easier cause with iTunes it's far more easy to sync the music that you already have on your Mac/PC...I prefer to take advantage of my iPhone and all it's capabilities like iPod and don't install another app for music. :)

If that's fine for you, then great. Some of us use Spotify, which can actually sync local tracks too. It's completely replaced the Music app for me, which is terrible on iOS 7.

The biggest reason I pay for Spotify premium and iTunes Match is so I do not have to use the space on my phone for music. It also keeps me from having to buy new music...Or at the very minimum download it from somewhere...

The ability to open Spotify or Playlist.Net and immediately find a Jazz Piano, or Delta Acoustic Blues Playlist is priceless to me....All without having to search through endless piles of albums, CD's and files to make the playlist I want...

If you are a fan of music Spotify is great....

Locally stored. If I was a teenager or college student then I'd probably stream. But I've spent 20 years buying music (physical and digital) so it makes sense to place it in the cloud and listen in that manner. I pin what I want for offline use or in non wi-fi areas. I do use Spotify but only via wi-fi.

Both, but I keep my purchases on the phone, since spotify premium will drain my data really fast.

Cheap monopolic carrier here on mexico now only offers 1gb of data as it best data plan for the price I am paying for 3 gb. Guess that when the iphone 6 comes around I will simply pay whatever the unlocked phone costs.

I store locally, I live in quite a rural area of the UK and I can't stream reliably while driving around (when I do most of my music listening.)
I used to use iTunes match to have access to my whole collection on the go, but had way too many issues with mismatched songs and having all my music matched with censored versions. So now I just keep my playlists up to date and it auto syncs over wifi each time I get home to get my new songs added etc and I find that works well for me.

I store all my music on my device, that's why I'm hoping that the 32GB will still be available on the iPhone 6, the 16GB is not enough and the 64GB would be too much.

Locally stored. Most streaming services don't play the kind of music I like to have my library with me in case I'm in an area with no service or close to data cap.

Spotify premium here. I bought in on their summer promotion; where you bought the first month for full price and the next two months were free. So for theoretically $3.33 a month I have access to 320KB/s quality music from all of my favorite artists with no advertisements and can listen to whatever I want whenever I want.

After Spotify came out with the student discount ($5/month), I switched to Premium and synced my iTunes library with it. I carry a few playlists synced locally for a while, usually some favorite albums and new music that I update every Tuesday with stuff from Spotify and stuff not on Spotify. It's been a good system so far. I don't really need to do this with unlimited data, but with battery life on this 4S less than ideal, locally syncing helps out.

Mostly stored on my phone. I have an extensive collection on my PC, but keep the main tunes on my phone, switching them as mood dictates.

Spotify Premium w/ Student Discount ($5/month). Sooo much cheaper than buying music, not to mention it makes discovering new music much easier. I'm on T-Mobile so there's a lot of places that don't get good enough coverage to stream, so being able to search for any playlist on Spotify (such as the iTunes Top 100 Poaylist, Country Playlist, Top 100 on Spotify Playlist, etc.) and instantly download and save every song to my phone locally is a life saver. The fact that these playlists auto-update weekly with new songs is what I really love, though. Because of these playlists automatically changing and updating I never have to worry about listening to the same songs over and over, it's amazing. And to top it off it only uses like 2-3GB of space for all the playlists I have saved.

Absolutely love it.

How do you sync your iTunes library with Spotify premium?

Most of the stuff I hear on the radio is terrible and/or extremely dull, in my opinion, and I have no desire to listen to it.

I have more than enough classic albums stored locally that I can happily listen to time and again without getting bored.
