What a rebel! :D

But seriously, I am in Arizona too--and maybe you run with your dog at night or around dusk/dawn--but the iPad is not very good in the bright Arizona sun. In fact I'd say the iPhone is marginally better in that respect.

Now regarding running while recording video, I think more than looking silly there is the issue of holding such a large ungainly device while doing it. I can't imagine doing it one-handed.

As for viewing iPhone 4S videos on the iPad the camera connection kit is great for that. But you do need to have it and a sync cable with you to go straight from iPhone to iPad.

Michael - :D After reading your post, I can see why you think that I'm taking videos of "runs" with my dog. Lol. That's too funny. Here's what I'm talking about: agility runs, where I'm running my dog around a course and someone else is recording me. :D So, really, what do I care if they look silly. :p

If you want an example of what an agility run is, here's a world class competitor directing her dog over a course: http://youtu.be/o5NYJSwwo-U

LOL! Yes, I think it is safe to say that is nothing like I had pictured. I pictured someone running with their dog, like in a park: leash in one hand, while somehow recording with the iPad in the other. :D
