I’ve got an S7 41mm starlight with cellular. It had been my plan to upgrade this year but I don’t think I’ll bother. I had AppleCare for it and a month ago the battery finally dipped below 80% and it was replaced for free. So I’ve now got a new S7 and cancelled the AppleCare. Can definitely recommend taking it out if you’re going to keep the watch long enough for the battery to degrade.

The S10 looks tempting but not quite enough. Even though my daughter has an SS S5 that is lovely but could do with replacing with my S7 as a hand-me-down.

Is the battery replacement an easy process? And how long are you without the watch for?

I have an Apple Store close by so I just booked an appointment, went through checks with Genius, and left the watch with them. Got a new one delivered to my house a few days later. No hassle at all.

Have a 41mm S7 that I bought when the S8 came out. Considering to upgrade but unsure if to 42mm or 46mm. Or maybe wait another year. Likely I'll go to Apple store to see them to see how thin/large they are in reality.

Edit: I've now been to store - honestly it was hard to tell the new apart from my S7 without the labelling. No sale for me. :/
