Thanks for all of your replys guys. I'm really stuck now with deciding whether I prefer the Space grey one think it blends in more ? I would like to see if anyone has the sport white with the black leather loop so I can get an idea of what it looks like ?

I think I saw that combo posted in the pinned post "Show off your Apple Watch" on this forum.

Back on the 1st question.
When I got my 38mm (I have small wrists), it looked very small to me, but fitted good on my small wrist.
Right now, after a few weeks, the watch start to look bigger to me, I really got used to its size.

It looks fine if you're going after a dress watch look.

If you're going for a dive watch look, then you'd want to get the 42mm.

Say if the watch was the wrong size for my wrist surely it wouldn't let me actually meet both ends of the straps together ? Just a thought. It's currently on the last hole and plenty of space to move around.

Are you using the large or small or large band ?

The watch looks very nice on your wrist. I have the 38mm and my friends that look at it think it is the large size. So I don't think any one will look at your watch and say they think it looks too small for you. What really matters is that you like it, because it really is all about personal taste.

I swapped to the Silver sport one and i actually think it looks worse than the black. Just need to maybe go back and trade that in and see if i can track a SG in fairly good condition lol..maybe in couple weeks time.

maybe it's size not colour?

I have small wrists but have always worn large watches so I'm used to something bigger. That plus the bigger, easier to read screen and better battery life cemented my decision. I tried to talk my wife into the 42 as well but she chose the 38 and it does look good on her but the battery life is much less than mine. I just think the 42 is a better choice for most unless you're very petite.

Decided to go for the 42mm space grey one once I'm back from holiday week on Sunday and can't actually wait lol. I think it matches well with the leather loop I want :) happy days

Super indecisive

i thought 20 minutes ago you had decided to swap for the 42 space grey!

at this rate you could have just got a stainless steel apple watch in the first place with all this swapping...

I mean how much nicer does this look lol

I know total nightmare !! Stainless steel is still out of my budget though so that's a no go. With my job the case will get marked too easily

scratches in the stainless steel polish out though, apparently...

if you have a job where you might scratch the case, the normal sport might be your best bet. if you get a scratch it'll be better hidden, there won't be a contrast with the case.

I love the stainless steel , looks really classy just not practical at the end of the day. If I had the money id have both lol

having both is *really* not practical, until they can let you pair more than one to the phone at a time! (i'm hoping that happens, eventually... then people can have different materials, different sizes for different looks - they could even come out with a different shape [round!] if they wanted to!)

42mm looks better on your wrist in my opinion. Even if you have slightly smaller wrists. As been stated before: Go with the one that makes you happy. Neither will make you look stupid.

I think the 42mm looks more suitable to most people, from what I've seen. I have fairly small wrists but the smaller watch does look a bit.. out of place..
