Does anyone else have some type of problems with the alarm in the Clock app on the iPhone, or iPod touch I guess? I have always used the alarm for a long time and still use it but sometimes I think it doesn't work. Like every once in a while it won't go off, at least I think. I could just be turning it off while I'm sleeping still but I don't think so. Does this happen to anyone else?

I use mine all the time, and haven't noticed any issues with it.

I use it every day to wake me up at 5:45am. Has never let me down since I first got my iPhone 3G in 2008 and iPhone 4 in July. I trust it 100%.

I use it all the time without issue. I think you are turning it off and not remembering. ;)

Since the first time it happened, about 2 or 3 months ago, I always check to make sure all the alarms are on.

If I manually close the app will it still go on? I always close all my apps right before I go to sleep but I have been leaving the clock app running, with the Night Stand app on display, because I was afraid maybe that was it the first time.

No issues here when using the alarm app. I trust my iPhone more than the clock the hotel.

I guess it might just be me. I know that it is always on, it is supposed to wake me up everyday. I wonder if it it is actually going off and I just turn it off while still sleeping. This may be the case but I am usually a real light sleeper.

Surprisingly its recently been failing me, heres an example

i woke up for school and i saw i had missed text yet my iPhone's Alarm still not had went off and it was after it should've went it off. Thinking i must have slept through it or accidentally turned it off....so i unlock then instantly my Alarm had went off it was weird...

These Days i've been lacking Sleep so i sleep deep and my alarm doesn't phase me anymore

Have used it 5 days a week since August 2007 and have yet to have even one issue with it. About as reliable as one could ever ask for despite all the hoopla a few months ago.

I get nervous about all the 'day of the week' stuff and figure I'll set something wrong.

So I set all 4 of my alarms to 'every-day' and just turn them on and off as needed.

    Always works fine.

i use it every day. only time i had a problem was at the start of this year with the bug. it set it just for fun and it didn't go off. otherwise its perfect. it forces you to actually get up and swipe it off, otherwise it'll ring again.

Mine failed me on January 2nd, but that was a known issue. Other than that, 2+ years with no problems.
