Haven't heard anyone mention the MX Revolution. Any time I'm away from home I pine for my beautiful mouse and its multitude of buttons.

I use one occasionally with my MacBook. It really depends on the things that I am doing and whether I need the mouse to be more precise.

I'm the only person who uses a mouse with their laptop in my family. But only at my desk where using the trackpad is not practical (laptop in front of external monitor = blocked screen)

I have a Logitech laser mouse. I used to use it with my old Powerbook; after I bought my Macbook, I continued using it with the Macbook out of force of habit. And that's why I haven't yet learned how to use my multitouch trackpad effectively.

I use a RocketFish bluetooth mouse as discussed here:

Got mine used on ebay for $15 because it was an open package item.

It requires AAA batteries but I use rechargeables which last about 4 months.

The only time I use it is with applications like Lightroom and Photoshop. (with an external monitor attached of course).

I will also play some silly-assed golf game on the windows side of my mac. I was quite surprised at the responsiveness of a wireless mouse when swingin' dem clubs! :D

I use the mighty mouse 80% of the time. I love to use the trackpad when I'm using iphoto and safari (going back and forward from page to page)

I have a wireless mighty mouse, but I really don't use at much as I thought. The trackpad on the Uni's makes it pretty damn efficient anyways.

CrackBookPro:cool:

Its click is loud. Its scrollball stops working frequently and needs to be cleaned often. You have to lift your left finger to do a right click. Bluetooth connections fail occasionally and the mouse needs to be rebooted. The side buttons are difficult to operate for some people rendering them obsolete.
You seriously have to lift your left finger to right click? I was thinking about buying the bluetooth version but that kills the idea. I was looking at the MX Revolution, but I've had some issues with my Logitech mouse that stutters on OS X. I have tried SteerMouse and the Logitech Control Center with no avail. I do, on the other hand, have a corded Microsoft Mouse that works seamlessly. So I was looking at this mouse from them, with a nano reciever (a big plus, since it's no bluetooth). Any other recommendations as far as mice go (wireless/bluetooth)?

Who eats dorito's at their computer? No, I'm serious. Why the hell would you do that...that's like asking "How did my keys get orange?!" and never coming to the realization that you eat cheeto's all the time while browsing YouTube.

You eat all the time in front of the TV, what makes the computer any different?

I use a real mouse when I play video games, and that's about it. Or when I use my desktop ;)

Logitech V470 all the way: great battery life, bluetooth works fine, no mighty-mouse style scroll ball, very reliable: recommended over a mighty mouse any day!

But no other buttons? :( I would love to go for a bluetooth mouse, but it seems that it just doesn't support a myriad of button support.

i use a BT mighty mouse. i really like it. i love the any direction scrolling, does wonders in garageband and ableton live. i've never had any issues with it. and the battery life is great.

I do not. I like the touch-pad and I'm used to it now. I often use my laptop on my bed or couch and don't have anywhere to use a mouse. It's just easier to not use one.

Nope

I did use a mouse until I glued my buttons shut on my mighty mouse :(ill fix sooner or later). But after using the trackpad for a few months now, I can say that it feels WAAYYY better than using a mouse and its way quicker too. I mean the double click is annoying, but you get over it soon enough.
