I use one and have for years. I change the heads regularly and find my teeth feels a lot cleaner than with a normal toothbrush. Dentists tend to recommend electric toothbrushes I’ve found.

Yes, I do, and so does my wife. Our dentist friend heartily recommends them. After I started using my own electric toothbrush, the next dental checkup n' cleaning went very smoothly.

We use Sonicare, btw.

I like the Sonicare DiamondClean electronic toothbrush which I've had for about year and half. I like the fact that each replace brush heads come with a new brush cover which is great. I'm not sure if the Oral-B replacement brush heads come with a brush cover.

For some reason this chart doesn't include the Oral-B 8000 model.

Use the Oral-B pro 7000, which is on that chart, and 2 other Oral-B before that.
Can hardly recall when I brushed teeth’s with manually brush.
Flossing is simple with Placker, done in a minute anywhere.
Dentist is happy with me. :D

Thank you for the tip and I'll check out those Plackers.

They are here: http://www.plackers.com

FAQ: https://www.plackers.com/flosser-faqs

Edit. I do think people can google for themselves ;)
But wen I googled it I came to the Swedish site, with no references to any international one.
So I started to write the post with that info. And of course it was not a Swedish brand.
I didn't thought so. Anyway....I left the post remain with reference to the .com site.
Because Plackers is really such great thing :D

I’ve been using the Quip electric toothbrush and I was very happy with it at first, but I’m about 2 and a half months in and not due to receive my replacement brush head for another two weeks and my current brush head is so worn as to be virtually unusable.

Sonicare... Love ours and unless something happens to the company we will continue to keep getting them. Yes, the upfront cost is a little more, but I know we can tell the difference.

Philips isn't going anywhere. One quality I like about real electric brushes is their ability to remove stains effectively without using a gritty toothpaste. As someone who drinks quite a bit of black tea, coffee and red wine, it does help maintain a near laser look.

Though, sometimes when I'm feeling reminiscent of the old days, I'll use a manual toothbrush.

I can say, the first time I used their electric toothbrush it was quite jarring! Felt like my jaw and head was going to fall off due to the vibration.

Both me and the wife also drink our fair share of black tea and wine, the brush has done an outstanding job at keeping our teeth as white as they can be!

After my dentist said my teeth will fall out if I don't floss more and brush better I got a new brush on Amazon. Now she says it's improved, so I guess I'll keep using it.

Oh, yeah, of course. Especially with the region between teeth. To quote my dentist, "Zen, why the hell do you even bother coming anymore?" purely as a joke. We've become friends over time. I go in twice a year just to be on the safe side. I use the Colgate Total paste and have been using it since got approved for use in Canada, before the FDA okayed it. I'd go up to Canada and "smuggle" in boxes of the stuff. I've used other pastes before and did not like the feeling of plaque growing on my teeth.

I'm not a big fan of how the Sonicare works and prefer the oscillating brushes. Some find it more aggressive, but I find it easier to use versus the technique one has to learn to use the Sonicare correctly. Buying either company's units from Costco or Sam's is fantastic since they double down on the units and the warranty is longer, plus the unit sets are cheaper than a single unit is elsewhere.

Hahahahah... made me chuckle a little. :D

That is where we purchased ours and also the replacement heads, when needed.

Currently using the OralB ProssionalCare 7000, must've been using it for over 6 years. I have never used anything but electric toothbrushes in my life, except when packing light on a holiday.

My mom is currently trying out an ionic toothbrush, pretty interesting concept especially from an environmental point of view. Toothpaste isn't even needed, although she does use it still. I think I'll stick my trusted OralB though.

I still don't use an electric tooth brush, but, since this thread was first posted, we have bought one (a good one) for my mother, who has advanced Alzheimer's, (on medical advice) and we find it excellent.

I may yet reconsider using one for myself when I am home.

Abroad, no.

I have to say, the electronic toothbrush is a great product.

I can not go back to use the traditional toothbrush now.

I love my white teeth.

Been using electric brush for more than 10 years. They are effective and whitens the teeth.
