I use it at Walgreens and GameStop. I also use the billguard app and it keeps my debit card balance updated on a passbook card

Do you use passbook?

No and probably will never use it. I haven't even opened the app, which is in the junk folder.

One of my favorite apps since day one. As others have mentioned, use the apps with retailers such as Starbucks, Walgreens, etc...

Also, use with my hotel rewards programs, airline programs, and boarding passes.

Incredibly convenient app.

Ive used it 4 times:
once to install / setip my starbucks card
once to use the starbucks card
once to install a flight ticket with the British Airways app and
once to try to board the plane. they didnt like that so I had to use a normal boarding pass.

What I would love instead of NFC is maybe a pay by barcode system like Starbucks. It works and if the barcode is stolen you just change the barcode.

I use it a lot now that more retailers are embracing it. I use it mainly for Starbucks, and loyalty cards for the movie theatre, grocery store and American Eagle. I've been able to get rid of enough cards to get a smaller wallet. Got a TGT Wallet now that is much slimmer.

I try to find ways

First off, Hello everyone! This is my first post even though I read macrumors pretty much everyday. I joined in mainly to chime in on this subject, but hopefully I have something substantive to add to this and other discussions in the future. I've spent the better part of the last 4 years switching between android phones and iphones (mainly because i keep breaking them) so trying to settle in on something that stored info like this hasn't really been a viable options/concern.

Since I've gotten the 5S I find myself finding ways to use passbook. I use it at stores, for airline tickets/reward membership info, discounts etc.

I would say the place I mainly use passbook is at Walgreen strangely enough, and that's because 1. There's one right down the street from my house and 2. Any time I get close to it, the option to pull up my card in passbook automatically comes up.

Outside of the lack of integration with myriads of other apps (even ones in the same industry or with similar programs), I find myself hoping that different places I go or events I attend have the option of using passbook for something.

Use it for Subway and Oysterpass.

Really wish more retailers and businesses in the U.K started utilising Passbook, especially for loyalty cards, I have that many I usually end up forgetting to take them when I need them!

Its on my phone I see it every day (I refuse to move the default app location) but I have no way to use it. Does anyone use or even think to use it?
Why? This make no sense. Cant fathom any sort of logical or even subjective reasoning why a person wouldn't move an app icon... Especially one that isn't being used.

I use it all the time, multiple times a week. Passbook rocks. Ive got 8 static cards, more when there are specific tickets.

Best use has been for boarding passes for flights. My favorite feature is that it simply appears on my lock screen within a few hours prior to boarding.

I don't know I just won't do it. But I did move the dock around if that makes you feel better.

You're the one who noted in the OP you have a hangup on moving icons around.

I feel compelled to give you a pat on the back and a  for breaking through this oddly mundane barrier.

I use it every once in awhile. Luckily a few loyalty programs here have passbook

As a frequent flyer, it's brilliant for storing my boarding passes. Nifty little app; wish it were more widely adopted.

I've never used it, for this reason I don't how actually. Until Peet's Coffee implement passbook payment I probably wont ever use it. (I don't drink Starbucks).:p
