I have an iPhone 4 so I can't use Siri on my phone but always wish I could. I love using Siri on my iPad but all my friend that have Siri on there phones they say they never use Siri.

I use it for various things like reminders, alarms, and calling folks. I also use it for things like checking what games are on for the day, checking scores, standings, schedules, and finding local businesses near me. Oh and math questions like what is 15% of $4.27?

Siri is really good and people under estimate its capabilities. Researching what she can do is something many should look into. Hell, asking what movies come out this weekend is gold too!

I use it occasionally to make appointments or make phone calls. I've found it frustrating and time consuming to use it for anything that requires it to search the internet for an answer.

Getting less and less ... Mostly I ended up with: should I search the web for you ?
That I can do myself without Siri.

If Apple would allow developer to hook in their own functionality would be nice and open a mumber of new opportunities.

Do you use Siri on your iPhone?

Several times a day, more if I need driving navigation or hands free messaging that day.

I don't use it at all anymore, but in the past I had used it to read and reply to my text messages/iMessages.

I use it daily for appointments, alarm, directions... Love using Siri on my 5s but didn't like using it when I had my my iphone 5.

I mostly don't use it. It was mostly a novelty at first and it's never transformed into something useful for me.

I think it is a gimmick so no. Why would I ask it to do something when it'd be faster to just do it myself?

I use it once in a while. To reply to texts, set up reminders, timers or make phone calls.

As TC400 above, I mostly use it to set the Timer, Reminders, Alarms, and the occasional request for spelling and definitions.

I use Siri a lot while driving, to listen to text messages received and dictate responses or to check traffic conditions. I'll also occasionally use it around the house to do a quick lookup, especially when I don't have the hands free or the time to type a full question because I'm in the middle of something (that likely could use that answer).

My most common Siri commands are:

  • "Traffic"
  • "Weather"
  • "Read texts"
  • "Reply"
  • "Message <name>"
  • "Play [artist|genre] <name>"
