What do you use the most and why?
I use my ipad mini because it is portable and I can easily surf the net vs my hp mini netbook that takes a few minutes to start up.
What about you?

My desktop runs a half dozen security cameras. I seldom touch it unless I remote in for a camera problem. The laptop sits on the floor and is used for that occasional web page the iPad can't handle. It used to travel with me but more and more it stays home. I run a couple of websites and I can do 98% of what I need to do with the ipad. The one other thing the desktop does is programming or rebuilding one of the sites.

I use my iPad for everything from work to entertainment. I only use the MacBook when the iPad is out of reach or have a task that requires its use..

I use my iPad 3rd gen a lot and love it. But nothing will ever separate me from a desktop computer I love desktop even with my stupid PC with windows 7 I hate that stupid thing but still it's desktop. I always find my self going to it. But I mostly use my iPad.

I still use my laptops more than anything. I use my iPad 4 for browsing all the time, and it's probably my favorite device for browsing without inputting anything major. I still use my laptops for writing, emailing, forums, and anything serious, because I find OS X Safari and Windows 8.1 Chrome/FF to be in general more reliable than mobile Safari/Chrome. If there was a good Bluetooth mechanical keyboard available for the iPad I'd probably end up doing most things on the iPad, but until that (unlikely) time I'll spend most of my time on full computers. I also probably split my gaming time evenly between the iPad (Xcom!) and my PC, with a little bit of gaming done on the rMBP.

I did for a couple of years, but went back to my laptop when the Safari tab reloading became unbearable. Now, with my new MBP ... my iPad hasn't been turned on in almost 3 months. :p

Yes, I decided to see if I could get by with 2 iPads and 2 iPhones, not using the iMac anymore. That was about a year ago, and so far I just haven't needed a desktop anymore. I could see if you were a creative, editing photos and movies you might still want a powerful desktop, but just your average person like me, there doesn't seem to be that much use case for a desktop anymore. I don't sit for hours in front of an actual desk with desk chair anymore to do computer activities at home, lol.

I use my Air most often, but take rmini with me and use on the go or in bed reading.

My husband is a photographer and uses MBP on the go, and iMac at home. He rarely uses iPad.

I'm probably 70% iPad and 30% laptop. There are times when I could use the laptop versus the iPad but I enjoy the iPad experience more and don't have to be sitting at our laptop/computer area so that's a huge plus.

I use my laptop the most.

The reasons, I work from home, and I need to access my companies infrastructure and maintain servers. I cannot easily do this in a tablet.

Also when I'm not working, I find using my laptop to be better with content creation then the iPad. The iPad is great for reading, light surfing and some emails but when I'm going to be spending some time working on a project, I'd rather use a laptop

Not so much fun to type long documents on. Like I said, if there was a good mechanical bluetooth keyboard that might do it...

I don't use a physical keyboard for my iPad but I have no problems with my MBP keyboard. Once you get used to it, it's awesome. But to each his own.

iPad & iPhone made my Air almost obsolete, here and then i turn it on to import pictures and sync. I write long Emails on my Mac, short are done on the iPhone and medium long on the iPad (easy to just grab it and start…) I like my iPads!

Use my iPad Air not touched my MacBook since, it's over 6 years old now. My Late 2012 Mini is used for photo editing.

When I first got my iPad I was so crazy with it, that I stopped using everything else. Now that the novelty is gone, I realized all the limitations of the iPad and I use it only in places where using a laptop would be too much. Actually, I am planning on selling my iPad and using only OS X machines for everything. I have an iMac at home and I use it primarily there for everything. I use my iPad on the couch or in bed and when at the office, but I will replace it with a MacBook Air..

I use my like new 2011 MBA about 10-15% of the time now (mostly for school)...

That being said I still maintain it with updates, and use it to manage media, etc...

I use my iPad/phone everyday. I use my laptop a few times a month unless I have a specific task to do. However I've been using my Laptop less and less over the years since I got my first iPhone in 2009. I only use my laptop if I have to, if I can't do what I need on my phone/iPad.

I use my laptop and computers the most, especially when moderating on here.

The iPad fails when using you are using multiple files & apps or have a lot of web pages open and you are doing a lot of cutting and pasting between them.

It's great for basic stuff though and I always go for it when I'm not doing anything too strenuous. :)
