I've had my iPad a year and a half and it's been a slow transition. It started out as mainly an e-reader. Now I use it the majority of the time. My MBP is basically my iTunes hub for my iPad, my iPhone and my kids iDevices. I also use it when writing occasional papers.

At work it's all Windows laptop. Outside of work I use the iPad 90% of the time. I still use my MacBook Pro if I need to print or do my banking. My bank website doesn't play well with the iPad.

I use my mini to read the web and books in bed--but i never do much else on the ipad--even simple tasks like email and shopping are far easier on a laptop

You can see all my devices in my signature.

I use my MacBook for in class note taking, and when I want to have a little more web access at home on the couch. I use my new iMac for writing music in Sibelius, typing up lab reports for class, and to reply to emails that need a large response. I also sync all my iOS devices to my iMac as well.

My iPad gets about 80% of my traffic at home. I use it in bed, on the couch while watching tv, and needless to say, in the toilet. :) I use it for responding to emails, web surfing, YouTube, and iOS games.

My iPhone is my phone for emails when I'm at work, school, or in the car. I normally don't web surf on my phone unless I have no other device with me. I play games on it as well.

But I seriously think I use my MacBook less now that I use my iPad.

I go back and forth. Just got an iPad Air. Currently I'm using it more, but my iMac is still my primary gaming machine and go-to for work related stuff. I've had 3 iPads in the past (2, 3, and 1st gen Mini) and the Air is seeing the most use by far.

Ever since I got the ipad Air I use it more than any other device. It's faster than my windows 7 laptop for internet browsing plus I use the Air for reading books.

My laptop is used for photo editing, banking/bills, games, and as a hub for all of my iTunes content. Otherwise, most of my screen time is with my iPad 4. Surfing, social media, email, watching TV and movies, taking notes at conferences and meetings is all done with the iPad.

(And I really need to stop being lazy and update my sig)

When I first got my iPad Air I used it more than my old laptop. When I got my rMPB, I stopped using it as much. Now I mostly use my laptop. Sometimes I'll still have days where all I use is my iPad though.

I use my mini about 90% of the time. The MBP gets used for the things that the iPad can't do.
No matter what apple does, it's hard for them to achieve the battery life that you get in an iPad. Also, it's so much easier to hold a mini and travel with it as well.

I use my iPad pretty much all the time. I use my laptop for some work stuff that I can't find an app for but other than that it get pretty much no use.

I have a desktop that runs iTunes and some media server software to stream video and music content to my iPads and ATVs.

For getting "real" work done, a "real" computer is still the best way to do it. Being able to manipulate things in separate windows with both a keyboard and a mouse is many times faster than touch input on a full screen tablet app.

When I'm not working, the majority of the time spent on the web is just surfing websites, which the iPad excels on. For real work, editing pictures, and other, I got to my home desktop.

I have multiple devices, spanning all 3 major platforms, and I don't measure or worry which I use most. I simply use them as I need them. When you need to quickly check the time, a simple watch is still the best tool, although you can pull your iPad from your bag and check the time. Is it a tragedy that your watch is not Apple? Do you measure whether you use your watch or iPad for checking time more often? No. Same with laptops, tablets, phones, etc. - just use them as tools, different tools for different needs.

I just got my Macbook Air as a replacement to my iPad, which I sold last Saturday. I was starting to missing my iPad, but now, I forgot that I even had one.
The Macbook Air is the way to go for me, as a much more power user friendly device for all the tasks an iPad does, and more!
At home I will still use my iMac more and my MBA on the couch and bed only. I am happy with my choice and I will reexamine an iPad when something changes, in iOS and in the device itself.

My iPhone and rMini are usually sitting right next to me on top of the couch, so they're easily accessible for me. More times that not, I grab my rMini if I want to do some quick web browsing. Right now, I really only use my MBP when I'm doing photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. Otherwise, I use my iPhone/rMini 90% of the time.

I only use my MacBook Pro for university work these days.

Between each semester I don't even touch my laptop and use my iPad for everything. It's the shear convenience that I love, and after 2 years (i'm on an iPad 2), I still love using it :)

I was planning to upgrade to MacBook after graduation this year, thinking it served its purpose over the past four years. Now, it makes more sense to just upgrade my iPad instead.

99%of the time on the iPad mini hooked up to my logitech Ultrathin keyboard cover mini which makes it into a mini laptop of sorts. i only use my laptop for the times i want to sync my iPad with iTunes

iPad/iMac

I really prefer for most things to use my iMac but I probably use my iPad more often as it's nice to sit with my wife & dog rather than on my own, also the iMac is between the back door and the entrance to the garage so it's a bit drafty in the winter. On the other hand we watch lots of TV shows and movies (mainly TV shows) on my AppleTV which I normally stream from the iMac so if you count that as using the iMac then I probably use the iMac more. I prefer to play games on the iMac rather than my iPad though.
