My biggest gripe with the iphone/alarm clock is that you cant switch the phone off completely (to save battery life over night) and then have the alarm wake you and the phone in the morning. Nokia have managed this for the past 15 years in their most basic of handsets which i miss, otherwise the iphone is ace!
If you put the phone in airplane mode it uses hardly any battery (1-2% I've found over the last 3 years) and is virtually the same as turning it off![]()
